My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! The staff are excellent, very helpful and a lot of fun. The location is in the historic centre, walking distance to lot of things. Breakfast and dinner were good for a hostel. Bathrooms are clean. The rooms are a bit noisy, but other than that everything was great.... More

This is definitely the area you want to stay in! The staff is friendly and happy to help with anything. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are quite clean. This was an overall positive experience for me!

All the staff were amazing and so helpful - giving us tips of the city and making us feel very welcome. The food was basic but great and our room was clean. Id recommend amgio for sure! Lots of cool people and a fun place for a few days :)

I've never done the hostel thing before but I wanted to be downtown Mexico City for only a couple nights and I was on a budget. Hostel Amigo was overall clean for what you would expect a hostel, it wasn't the interactive, fun atmosphere that it suggests in its pictures or I was there at a slow time... Excellent location,... Basic beds & hostel, but the main things are covered. At the time the computers with internet were under construction - it would be nice if there were more working computers. A simple continental breakfast is included. The location is very convenient as you are in the Zocalo.

Location is excelent, few blocks from a metro station, few blocks from Zocalo square and Bellas Artes and Templo Mayor, retaurants and everything nearby. Good breakfast and Wifi. I´ve read some reviews complainig about noise, but as I noticed all the noise cames from the guests, it´s up to the guests to behave properly, they make noise in all hostels.... More

Nice hostel! The staff was very friendly, breakfast was more than I expected and you can't have a better location. Only the shower wasn't that clean. Before 11.30 p.m there was a lot of noise, but then they turned the music off.

The hostel is very well situated in the heart of Mexico city, but always full of noisy young Israeli, they came here after finishing their conspiration and stay for months. The only person will feel comfortable in this hostal are the nightwolves . The rooms are very dark, there's no wifi in the second floor. A bad experience overall

What a brilliant choice for stay in Mexico city. Just around the corner of Zocalo. Main street 2 blocks away and all walking distance. Local restaurants with tacos or another yummy things around and the people in the hostel are amazing. The price includes breakfast and dinner too. It is incredible. Just woooooow Wifi worked. They give you earplugs at... More

The place is very central . 4 blocks from the Zocale, you can't beat that for this price. I stayed in a private room witch was priced at 320 MXN. I think the price is not bad, but for the same price you stay next door in a real hotel in a single room. The place is safe, clean, ceilings... More
