I stayed there for 5 days, but wished I could stay longer. The location is great - close to a lot of bars & the subway line as well. The staff is super friendly & helpful. The place is small & cozy, they have a nice common area. At first I was a bit concerned because they only have 1... More

have totally mixed feelings... loved the people but didn't sleep for the 4 nights I was here. not really a party hostel... the beds in the dorms are really really squeaky. no fans or windows so the rooms can get quite hot. nice atmosphere and a cool meeting point for travelers. loved waking up to the Whitney Houston.

We wanted to thank you for this review -- that same week we heard from a couple other travelers about the room you stayed in being hot and hard to sleep in, so we took care of it. First we bought some fans to give it some ventilation, and then we fixed the beds (it turns out they were put... More

It was very small which is usually a good thing but in our instance it was quite cliquey with people that were staying a long time so not very welcoming. Room was pretty stinky. Hostel Suites DF is a much better hostel and better located too.

We're so sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience here :-( We are definitely a smaller hostel, which in our experience usually makes it easier for guests to meet and get to know each other, but we also understand that this won't be the case for everyone all of the time. Regarding the smell you mentioned, we... More

Cozy hostel in the centre of Condesa, one of the best barrios in Mexico DF. The place is a nice and warm house with both dorms and private rooms. Friendly and open athmosphere, cool people, cheap price and strategic location. Must try!

We loved staying at Hostel Home as it's in an unbeatable location and the staff are so cool. Jesus is so knowledgable, helpful and we had some great times seeing the real mex city. I hope to go back some day!

Hostel home is a great deal by the price, is excellent located very near of Reforma avenue, near to the bus and La Roma neighbour where you will find great restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are good according to the cost. Beds are clean and comfortable, and the hostel is safe. You will... More

Hostel Home has a great location, very close to good restaurants, the metro, and the bus. We were able to walk to many places around the city from here and could get to the further away destinations by public transit very easily. But the location is the hostel's best feature. The accomodations were very basic. The bathrooms didn't feel clean... More

Wow. I showed up at the hostel on a Thursday afternoon upon my return from Puebla. I did not have a reservation. I was let in by the female receptionist and went up the stairs to the desk. She was friendly. I asked I they had beds available and she said yes, then explained the options to me and the... More

Col. Roma has cool restaurants, bars, boutiques and nightlife. This hostel puts you in the heart of it. As for the hostel itself, it's friendly, well-equipped, and well-run. The owner is a DJ and he always had invitations or was taking guests out somewhere.
