This hotel has a very good location, though the street where it's located is not pretty at all. But it's close to the junction of the two main avenues of Mexico City, Reforma and Insurgentes; that's a plus. The staff, especially the bell boys, are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is pretty good though could be improved, but... More

This hotel is centrally located. The staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are a bit small and the walls are very thin! Corridors get noisey, the room doors BANG shut and you can hear everything. We travelled around Mexico and this was the only hotel that charged you for wifi. Around $5 a day. Also, careful when you shower.... More

Very good stay and great mexican breakfast. Rooms are a little outdated but the staff was really nice all the time, they even helped us get lactose free milk for breakfast even when it was not included in the menu...

ok to be fair we were originally booked at Hotel Casa Blanca. but they messed up our reservations and offered us rooms at their other property-Regente city. the hotel is centrally located with standard rooms and restaurant. the disappointment came from the fact that they barely speak English and DO NOT understand the concept of vegetarianism. they gave us boiled... We were part of a group of 20 staying in the hotel, given that we all had paid the exact same amount of money to stay in the hotel, we were puzzled by the huge differences between our rooms. We were in a tiny room, with two single beds that were almost touching, while others from our group were in... More

Overall it is a good hotel. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The room was not something special, the furniture were old fashioned, but decent. Breakfast has not variety of choices. I would say it is "poor". It is located in a good place in Reforma, there is no danger in this area. The internet is not free,... More

It's a small hotel but I was surprised that our room was spacious. The staff were very warm. Breakfast was good. Very far though to Zocalo. We walked a long way. Checked-out very early morning, staff still smiling. Taxi was ready even I did not asked..which was good coz I was catching my flight to L.A.

The hotel was conveniently placed, close to Chapultepec Park. The staff friendly and efficient. Our first room was very noisy and they gave us another without complaint, BUT they probably gave us the smallest room in the hotel! The only hotel on our 2 week circuit in Mexico, where you had to pay for using Wifi !!!

Hotel Regente is located at the intersection of the Reforma and Insurgentes avenues and is just next to the Senado de la república building. Also its right in the commercial, financial and cultural heart of Mexico City. The Hotel is very decent, clean and economical for the stay. You can get good Spanish Food over here. The guest staying here... More

We stayed in this hotel from Feb. 10-13, 2015. The rooms were large enough. Stayed in the 3rd floor. The staff were very friendly. Although not a lot of them spoke English. I like the fluffy pillows. I love the high pressure of the shower and they also have a separate filtered faucet in the sink. The towels were too... More
