Casa Zuniga is charming, spotlessly clean, and its rooms boast bar-none the best views of this colorful and vibrant city. We stayed in the Morgan Room and it was very spacious with its own little balcony to relax and enjoy the scenery. Rick and his staff are very friendly hosts, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Sightseeing is a breeze since... More

for hospitality and location. Spent 3 nights in this B&B with Rick and Carmen Zuniga. Besides being a very attentive host, Rick is a fount of local knowledge. The casa is unique architecturally and a veritable museum of paintings, sculptures, and artifacts. Breakfast, served family style at 9am, is copious and delicious and provides the opportunity to mingle with other... More

I stayed at this B&B more than anything after reading at some of the reviews from other people. THANKS to everyone for telling the truth, this is the best place to stay in Guanajuato, the place is very nice, clean, quiet, great views, food is delicious, easy to get to. The service is even better. You'll have no regrets. GUARANTEED.... More

This is our 4th trip to Casa Zuniga! The breakfasts, views, pool and especially the owners are amazing! I always love seeing what Rick has done next to make this place so unique. I love the metal artwork he has incorporated in his casa! He takes time from his busy day to talk at breakfast and is very welcoming. The... More

Firstly, Rick and Carmen are a lovely couple and go above and beyond. A couple of examples - Rick helped me out ahead of my stay when I was having problems booking Cerventino tickets online. He personally went to the Box Office and bought the ticket in advance for me. So very kind. While staying this past weekend, he then... More

We've stayed at a lot of similarly priced places in Mexico and Europe. This was the best. Great breakfast, great hosts, great rooms, AMAZING views. No complaints. Not one. If I'm lucky enough to go back to Guanajuato (amazing town btw), I will stay here.

Stayed this past weekend, during the holiday. Beautiful view/location, overlooking the city. Far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of busy streets, but close enough to walk down and be in the middle of excitement within minutes. Breakfast was amazing! and Rick (owner) was full of history and excitement. He made our stay that much better! I would... More

The hotel was great, nice spacious room ("Maxito") with a gorgeous view of the city, especially in the morning. Breakfast was a delicious chile relleno filled with eggs, there was a large fresh fruit salad as well. The owner Rick gave us a punch card for the funicular, so our couple of trips to and from downtown were free. Great... More

What else can I say about this place that was not mentioned in other reviews? This is a perfect place to wind down from a busy city life. The breakfast is different each day. The pitcher of drinking water is the first thing I reach each time I come back from our walk in the city. They have a good... More

At the urging of friends, we chose Casa Zuniga for this our third visit to Guanajuato. Since we had stayed next door back in February, we were familiar with the location and the positives it had to offer. Rick picked the Morgan Room for us and we couldn't have been happier with the room and the balcony overlooking the City... More
