We spent three nights this month at the fabulous Casa Zuniga...Rick goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a memorable experience. From the beautiful rooms with views, to the amazing spread at breakfast, to going above and beyond and conducting tours, and taking travelers to the bus station...highly recommend!

Just spent 3 nights with Ric and Carmen at Casa Zuniga and after reading the past guest reviews they all hit the nail on the head!!Amazing! However no one seemed to mention that Ric not only will have you in a belly roll of laughter ( I wish he was my history teacher when I was younger,I might have remembered... More

We stayed at Casa Zuniga for a week in the Morgan room. Overlooking the beautiful city of Guanajuato. The owner, Rick, took us on several tours...of the mines and the city. We would of never realized the history of this beautiful city had it not been for Rick. He would not take money for the tours and would of been... More

Muchas Gracias Bellstar2015. Plus you went through the trouble of your first TA review. Thank you so much for taking the time. As you know, Ashland is the sister city of Guanajuato. Because of this, we wanted to do what we could to help you know as much as possible about Guanajuato, with the hope that you could be an... More

Casa Zuniga elevated a trip to Guanajuato from memorable to unforgettable. Let's get the hard facts out of the way. Expansive and sort of contemporary, artsy grounds made with traditional materials. Hot showers with high pressure, huge size rooms, king size beds, fluffy pillows and beds, daily cleaning (it's immaculate and Pine Sol fresh), comforting conveniences like toothbrush holders in... Muchas Gracias emily1201 for this outstanding review. And for booking direct. The only way to book. You outdid yourself my dear. And thanks for giving everyone the heads-up on all the noise of Guanajuato. However, you left out the bottle rockets at 6:00 am. Lot happening some 85 meters below the house and at the Pipila monument 15 meters above... More

Casa Zuniga is the perfect choice of accommodation in Guanajuato. The hilltop setting provides a panoramic view of the entire region with easy access to central areas town within walking distance or via the nearby cable car that zips up and down the hill. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and provide a great value. The entire setting is relaxing and fun.... More

On our recent short trip to Mexico (8 days in total), we decided to head up to Guanajuato on an adventure with a couple of friends who had recommended this colonial town. "YOU MUST SEE A COLONIAL TOWN WHEN YOU COME TO MEXICO......and Guanajuato is the best", the voice echoes in my head. So off we went and stayed at... More

Muchas Gracias christinejadedliew for your reservation and for booking direct. Saved yourself some money. Being that your friends drug you to Guanajuato, we felt even more anxious to show you a good time. Out of your 8 days, we were put in in the last minutes of the game in a do or die situation. Thank you for giving Guanajuato... More

We've stayed with Rick and Carmen not once but twice in their sprawling B&B overlooking Guanajuato next to the El Pipila monument and funicular and enjoyed both times immensely. It is built on a hill so there are stairs to navigate but each level is full of sculptural artwork, paintings, patios and nooks & crannies - and Spectacular views. The... More

Muchas Gracias RellRog for your review and for booking direct. Save yourself money that way. Guanajuato has been deemed the Official Cultural Destination of Mexico. The village of Guanajuato is a living museum. Here museums are housed in buildings that are museums on their own. What better subject matter could we ask for? Yes, the home is size grande. With... Highly recommended. Casa Zuniga is a gorgeous house. Rick and the rest are very friendly, they make you feel at home. Stayed 2 nights at the Margarita room with simply stunning views. Loved waking up to that view and then enjoying the great breakfast! Fresh juice, coffee, eggs, pastery, fruit and mexican sides. Location is next to Monumento Pipila and... More

Rick and Carmen Zuniga's home / bed and breakfast / art museum features something like a landing strip on the roof, complete with an airplane that looks like it's built out of beer cans and chicken wire. I landed there for four entirely relaxing and welcoming nights and couldn't have been more relieved. The building is big, beautiful and packed... More
