We stayed in Jugueto suite for two weeks in March 2014 and really enjoyed our time. The owner, Mike, welcomed us himself, explained us everything we needed to know about the apartment and gave us plenty of tips about the city. The place was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped, shower had hot water and the bed was comfortable.... More

Mike had great advice and made great efforts to meet us upon arrival and explain everything as well as a quick walking tour downtown A very nice apartment with lots of hot water. Easy walk to downtown even more fun taking the buses all over town. We spent a week and could have spent several. Visit the Hacienda first and... More

I visit the San Javier suites at least once a year. I have stayed in each one over the 7 years I have been coming. They are the perfect accomodation. Not expensive, and have everything you need: filtered water, a kitchen you can cook in, a computer, a cell phone and a washing machine if you are on to somewhere... More

We stayed in the Renalto room and were pleasantly surprised that the suite was just as it was advertised to be....super clean and homey. The neighbourhood was quiet and we especially enjoyed the view from the rooftop patio as it provided a spectacular overview of Guanajuato and the surrounding mountain range. Given how accommodating the owners were to our arrival... More

I needed a place to stay in Guanajuato for 7 weeks while I attended summer school there. I found the Retablo Suite online and I fell in love with it. I contacted Mike via e-mail and booking the apartment was easy and quick. I couldn't have made a better choice. I met Mike upon arrival and he was very helpful... More

We spent a week in Guanajuato and didn't see everything. House was very nice and pleasant. Mike & Ana were wonderful hosts. The neighbors were friendly. Weather was nice. One day we spent in San Miguel Allende. Tax'is are plentiful and cheap. Probably walked 3-5 miles per day, so wear good shoes. Nice music and food in town. Considering this... More

My GF and I struggled to find a cosy, nice and friendly place. We were late to make the bookings and most of the places we wanted were booked out. Fortunately Ana and Mike took us in for our fortune. Previously they were not taking guests for a time period. It was one of our highlights in the city, knowing... More

My husband and I stayed 3 weeks at the Candelabro & Retablo Suites, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The suites are very clean, well-kept, and the drinking water tap, washing machines, etc are great amenities. Ana & Mike were very kind and thorough, and we repeated a number of the tips to friends that Mike told... More

A beautiful apartment at the top of Calle Alhondigas. We stayed in the top floor (of three floors) and had a wonderful time. It really has all you need for an extended stay and the price is extremely reasonable. With a separate bedroom, living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen (not to mention a computer, tv and cell phone!) it's really... More
