We spent a very enjoyable week at La Casa de Dona Ana. The apartment was extremely clean, well appointed and decorated in such a colorful way. It is an easy and interesting walk to the center of town. This was probably the best equipped and supplied apartment we have ever stayed in. It would be ideal for a long term... More

The Candalabra suite is immaculate and charming, nicely decorated with Mexican folk art, and convenient to buses, taxis, shops and restaurants. It's not a long walk to the historic center, and it always felt good to get back to the apartment. I saved some money by cooking breakfast and dinner, and was happy with the all the appliances and equipment... More

The suites were beautifully furnished with local decorations and artifacts, making the visit feel like an authentic Mexican experience.. Everything was available for cooking, doing laundry, connecting with wifi, TV; so well thought out, all the comforts of home plus a fantastic view from the rooftop terrace overlooking the city. The suites are located a 15 minute walk from downtown.... More

My sister and I stayed last September 2010 at La Casa de Dona Ana. This was our first trip to Guanajuato, Mexico. What a Beautiful City. Her mining background make it so different from others cities we have visited before. There is so much history lo learn and appreciate, its people are friendly and helpful. One of the best parts... My boyfriend and I stayed at the Alhóndiga House for 9 nights in the middle of June and it was perfect. The house was well kept, quiet, and had everything you would need including a huge rooftop terrace with an amazing view! Mike even met us at the end of the alley to help us find the place at 1:00... My wife and I recently stayed at the Retablo Apartment, and it was perfect for our week-long adventure in Guanajuato. The Suite had everything we needed in the kitchen, plus the in-room computer allowed us to stay in contact with our children back in Canada. Both the Kitchen/Living Room and the Bedroom were spacious and very clean. The Washer &... More

We travelled through Mexico for four months, and Guanajuato was one of our favourite places, made more memorable by our stay at one of the Casa de Dona Ana apartments. There are three apartments, with a rooftop terrace, complete with use of washer and dryer. They are right on a bus route, or a 20-minute walk to the centre of... More

I stayed at the apts. (all three) during my 5 month stay in Guanajuato. I arrived Nov. 2010 and stayed until March 30, 2011 and Mike was truly helpful making my winter "home" comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how modern, clean and new everything was.The beds are very comfortable, and linens are not skimpy. Even doing your laundry on... More

I really enjoyed my stay in the Alhondiga House with my good friends and their 3-year old son. The house itself is clean & nice with a front yard (a rarity in this town) and an excellent rooftop overlooking all of Guanajuato. The neighborhood is especially nice in that it's so far from vehicle traffic - quiet, peaceful, and you'll... More
