I only spent one night at Villa Sueno Azul, but it was everything the reviews said. Guanajuato can be very noisy, with roof dogs and roosters and traffic. I had previously rented a house in the same neighborhood (Las Embajadoras) for two weeks and while I enjoyed it, there was a lot of street and dog noise, plus a cantina... More

My son and I spent a few days in Guanajuato in February, and were so happy we chose Villa Sueño Azul. It really felt like we were visiting someone in their home, which is so nice when you're far away from you're own. Mali was very helpful and accommodating, and made a great Mexican breakfast for my son every morning.... More

Guanajuato is a bustling city, noisy and alive. Villa Suena Azul is your place to rest and get away from it all. I only went with the continental breakfast, sweet breads, fruit, cereal, yogurt and coffee, but if you're hungry you might want to go with the full breakfast. The proprietor, Mali, is a wonder, always willing to suggest a... More

We stayed at the Villa Sueno Azul for 3 nights at the end of January. We picked it because of its glowing reviews on Tripadvisor. Like those reviewers, we also found it excellent. The room was comfortable, the king-size bed firm. We enjoyed the breakfast of cereals, yogurt, and sweet breads and when we felt like a cooked breakfast (available... More

I stayed 10 nights at the Villa Suena Azul while visiting beautiful Guanajuato. It was lovely, quaint, and oh-so-clean! Mali, was wonderful and so helpful... and Lydia's smile made my day. It is a great place to stay traveling alone as a woman, safe and secure. (Despite my obvious issues with the keys!) The walk into town is easy and... More

I found and booked via TripAdvisor, so reviews are relevant ;) We stayed for two weeks in January, and had a great time. Location is easy walking distance to Centro, about the same distance to El Presa. Mali and Lidia are awesome hosts. Street in front can be busy and noisy, settling down later in the evening Mali arranged a... More

We highly enjoyed our stay at the Villa S. Azul. From the time we made our reservation to the time we left, the manager Mali took great care of us. She was an excellent hostess! We stayed in the Azalea room which was cute, and quiet. The one drawback is the shower that drained super slow. The continental breakfast was... More

Just to let you know that we had our plumber take a look at your shower and could not find anything wrong with it. However, we appreciate your comments because they help us to stay on top of things. More

We had a lovely stay at Sueno Azul. The manager, Mali, was very friendly and helpful - giving us excellent recommendations about what to do and where to eat in Guanajuato. The rooms are clean, comfortable and charmingly decorated and there is a pretty courtyard for breakfast. The shower pressure was a little weak but this would be my only... More

We are happy to announce that we have replaced our WATER SYSTEM, specially our HOT WATER SYSTEM. With this new system our guests should get hot water faster and pressured water in the showers. More

From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a wonderful choice for a B&B. The manager, Malinali, had all kinds of information for us about the city and things to do. We ate our excellent breakfast in the courtyard. We would go back to the Villa Sueno Azul tomorrow if we could. All the staff was so nice... More

We stayed in Villa Sueno Azul in June, and had a wonderful experience. I searched long and hard for a hotel/B&B in Guanajuato that had easy access, as many places (once you read the comments) describe flights and flights of stairs to access rooms. We had lots of heavy luggage, and I was traveling by myself with my 2 children,... More

Thank you for your kind words. My husband and I wanted to create a place where people could feel at home, we're glad you had a great experience and that you were taken care of by Mali and Lidia. We know our place would not be as special if it weren't for our great staff. More
