This hotel is very well located, just in the city of Guanajuato. The structure is nice and clean. It´s very close to the city center and there are taxis just in front of the hotel. The parking is free however there is a parking valet which takes your car to another place which we didn't know where. Nothing happened but... More

It is a convenient hotel, looks recently renovated on an old colonial building. It is definitely a great place to stay with a decent price. The service is outstanding and the food is great. It is a 15-20 minute walk to downtown, so it is in a good location, away from the business of downtown.

The Camino Real Guanajuato lacks the elegance and sophistication of many of its sister hotels. It's short on atmosphere and its grounds aren't particularly historic (the hotel is a modern construction sitting on the site of an old hacienda). The rooms, however, are spacious and comfortable, and business travelers will find the service friendly and efficient; both housekeeping and room... More

Camino real is a chain of hotels close to Quinta Real with less category... Thia hotel has an excellent customer service and a nice warmed pool in Beautiful Guanajuato The hotel is not on the old historic center but close enough to go with a Taxi around 3 dollars each way ...and coming back to a nice hotel with A/C... This is a great hotel. Very comfortable with excellent facilities and a great view. The only disadvantage to staying here is that it is not very close to the downtown area, the restaurants and the plaza. If you are looking for a place that's a bit secluded but still gives you access to the city, this is the place to... More

This was a nice surprise. The hotel is located somewhat further from the city center (20min walk), but this provides for a quiet and restful place. Rooms are new, clean and comfortable. The outside pool has a toboggan for kids, nice. The restaurant La Huerta had good food - price and taste. The only opportunity was the bar - has... More

Horrible service from everyone in the hotel from the front desk to the restarant, but specially the event organization was a steal, they charged $15,000 per extra hour supossedly for service that we got nothing, not even water. Plus they charged $165 per person for drinking service and getting a soda took us over 3 hours of waiting. Not only... More

It is trying so hard to be a real hotel, but while rooms are spacious you get faux marble bathrooms and furnishings right out of That 70s Show, and cheap touches everywhere. WiFi was hit or miss - mostly miss. Food was decidedly average at best. Would recommend eating elsewhere. It would seem the normal hotel custom of housekeeping knocking... More

The hotel location was not a problem for us as we prioritized modern facilities at a reasonable price. The room was very clean and functional, the matresses a little hard but that's the way they usually are in Mexico. The service, however, could be improved. We arrived on a Monday and found the check in staff to be indifferent. They... More

A modern and well-appointed hotel built on the site (and among the ruins) of an old silver crushing plant along the Guanajuato River escarpment. There is not much to fault here. The good: the standard rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable with the usual inoffensive chain hotel décor. All the necessities were there and they all worked as expected. Our... More
