This is the second time I've visited Casa de Pita. On both ocassions I was very confortable, the rooms are lovely and met lots of interesting people from different parts of the world. At breakfast we all sit at a table, are served a delicious meal, and get to know the other guests. It really is an experience you mustn't... more

Great location, quaint B & B, with healthy breakfast provided each morning. Senora Pita was really helpful in our pre-trip planning and while we were there! The town is really lively and beautiful with lots of things to do and see (i.e. museums, churches, restaurants, shopping, the University, etc.). Splurge and hire a tour guide (Rigo/ recommended by Senora Pita)... more

I loved staying here. Pita is an amazing hostess. Her rooms are nicely decorated and the breakfasts are delicious. Casa de Pita is very close to the Jardin Union- which has great restaurants and is the place to be in the evening. Getting to Casa de Pita was a bit of a challenge with all my luggage- you have to... more

The location of Casa de Pita is perfect. Right near the Jardin Union, tucked among the labyrinth of alleys, I felt as though I lived in GTO all my life. This apartment , Tapanco de Paty" is the best use of space I have ever seen, charmingly decorated and very comfortable. Pita is the perfect hostess. I love the notes... more

For someone that loves pottery, this home was eye-candy. Pita loves local pottery and decorates the rooms and the house with it. Breakfast includes granola and fruit with yogurt and a main dish, such as tamales, gorditas, burritos, etc. Everyone sits together at 9am for breakfast, and you get to know other travelers and Pita. Location is just off one... more

I planned a trip to visit Guanajuato with my friend Kevin and my Spanish Literature teacher Vincent recommended me to stay with Pita.. He gave me the best recommendation ever. I would definitely come back and stay with Pita. Casa de Pita is in the heart center of Guanajuato. Pita was very generous with recommendations as to what to do,... more

My husband, my adult son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Senora Pita was responsive to our emails, very welcoming, suggested things to do/see and cooked us two delicious breakfasts during our stay. The house decor is true Mexicana with old style Azulejo tiles, arches, carved wood doors and the rooms were great - each had their own personality -... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at Casa de Pita in January of 2009 and had a very positive experience. Pita is a warm, generous, and creative host. Her house is wonderfully appointed, although the rooms are humble. There are artistic touches and various traditional Mexican elements. The breakfasts were very good. And the location of the house is wonderful, in... more
