This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at...Dante and his family are super helpful and friendly (Dante can book you bus tickets from the front desk). His mom is a fantastic cook, everything looks and tastes gourmet, and is served in their colourful kitchen, where you sit around the table with other guests. The breakfast is... More

This is really the hostel of your dreams - felt a little bit like home. The hostel is managed by a very nice man named Dante, who always smiled while providing the very detailed explanations about the town. I really liked talking with him and getting his advises. The room was very cozy, had great decorations on the walls and... More

I've been staying at Casa de Dante for over 10 years now. It is a quaint place up on a hill, with an amazing view of the city. Something about the terrace that brings peace and serenity. Hands down the best breakfast you can find in town. Irene is a wonderful woman and the best host, she is caring and... More

(数泊してCentroへ移動もあり) At first, you will surprise when you were in the room, it's so pop and cute. You can feel Mexico. And then you went to balcony, the view from balcony was so amazing. It was so good time, just sit down and watch the town. Free breakfast was also good. Menu was changed by... I´ve stayed two days only in Guanajuato, but I wish i could have spent more time there. The Hostel is really nice, one of the best hostel i´ve ever been. Nice atmosphere and the great breakfast, itself, worth the visit ;)

We came to Casa de Dante based on recommendations from other travellers and they weren't wrong. Amazing views, best breakfast ever, comfy beds, free towels and water and huge lockers. There are not enough toilets when the dorm is full and the wifi is pretty sketchy but otherwise it is a total winner. Even the 162 steps up Callejon Zaragoza... More

I stayed here with my husband, two toddlers and parents in August 2015 and it was perfect! The hospitality is like none I've ever received elsewhere. Firstly, the room was spacious and homely with a balcony with a decent view of the city. The decor was colourful and cute. The hair dryer and hair straightener in our room was a... More

I am so glad I stayed at this place. Dante's mother is so generous and friendly that I felt like a home at the hostal. Every morning breakfast for 3 days was the best thing I experienced in Guanajuato. The spicy shrimp stew to get rid of hang over is one of the best meals I had in Mexico. When... More

I had a wonderful stay at Casa de Dante. I booked a single room with a private bathroom and a balcony (Room 7). Like the rest of the place, it was clean and beautifully decorated. Although I had a single room I got to meet other travelers staying in the hostal as well, so I had a nice time exploring... More
