Lovely hotel right on the Jardin Union. I especially loved this location. Elegant lobby. I especially loved the murals of Guanajuato history. Staff was very helpful. Suggestions for improvement: the carpet up the stairs in in the halls should be replaced. it was worn and not clean. Wifi spotty in my room.

If you get a room in the back of the hotel, it will be quiet and you can sleep well. Restrooms are clean as well as all facilities. However, watch out for hidden costs. If you get an approximate cost for any service or meal, count on it being 30% higher. Demand the true cost in writing before you consume... More

The Posada is set in a building from the 1860's, it is interesting. It has oil paintings and decoration very adequate to the place. The personnel is very helpful and kind. Room was ample and comfortable. The bathroom seems to be added and is very very small. It needs to be refurbished. The carpets in some places saw better times... More

We had a car and as you can imagine driving around in Guanajuato is quite the adventure. Our GPS got us to the alley way where you stop to have your car parked and the guy on duty was amazing. Zip, zip and we were into the back entrance of the hotel. The hotel itself is quite wonderful with very... More

We spend 1 weekend night here. We were in a larger group but I did not hear a lot of complaints from anyone about the rooms.Location is great to walk around the shops, theater, markets and other activities. Rooms are Ok but dated. My pillow I found out had old blood stains on it in the morning, but it was... More

If you are a budget minded traveler and want a fantastic central location this is a great option! We stayed 4 days here. The staff are very friendly. They made a room change to a quitter location when we asked. We spend hours sitting on the benches in front of the hotel watch the people and musicians daily! The hotel... More

A lot of noise, I could hear all the conversations of the people walking outside of the room, and of the people of the hotel at the lobby. Terrible sleep quality. The women of the lobby is kind of rude.

Just finished a city tour w a guide from our hotel Posada Sante Fe. It exceeded our expectations. He spoke very good English and took as much time as we needed-well worth $100 for 2persons. The hotel is steeped in history and has a charming sidewalk cafe. They are undergoing renovations to the front balcony rooms.

This hotel is in the main square of Guanajuanto and the staff are excellent and the add-ons make it a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for three nights and found the breakfasts to be great and the support we recieved from the staff was great! Would stay there again!!

WARNING! January 2015. This hotel currently has major construction going on. The halls are full of dust. Customers are required to step over construction materials and angle around things. The crews work from about 9 till after 6. The staff is completely indifferent to this chaos. Stay way till this is completed
