since the reservation, it was very easy to get in touch and clear all things with the staff. The place is very well located, a few steps from The main sightseeings. Beware, if you go by car, you won't have parking lot so close. The hotel has a vallet parking, it's not cheap, but you thats how it is. All... More

The hotel has a very good location, very close to the main square, there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is in an old building, the decoration is very nice, the only issue would be that you will have to go upstairs to get to your room, since there is not an elevator

This hotel is centrally located and so you can easily walk to all in-town attractions. It is an old hotel with a lot of character -- very Mexican in style. The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and clean. The mattresses are firm. The shower has very low water pressure, but an endless supply of hot water. I did... More

I have lone enjoyed taking a suite in old hotels and this hotel did not dissppoint. El Meson is quiet and centrally located, within easy walking distance to everything, the Diego Rivera Museum is just a few steps down the block. I shared a two bedroom suite with a couple and we had plenty of privacy, a nice living room,... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night on business. I found the location very comfortable, easy to walk to the main square and basically anywhere else. I went out for a run in the evening and easily found my way up to the Pipila through a puzzle of streets/houses which made it a wonderful run. Guanajuato is really beautiful... More

Stayed here for a long weekend and was very pleased. Beautiful hotel, especially the several-story open dining room. Perfect location right in the center of town, one block from the University. Very helpful staff. Because of the structure of the building, there is some interior noise at night but not too late. And yes, there are stairs, but also willing... More

A charming, unique place, a bit like staying in a medieval castle, which fits in quite nicely with the charm of this unique and enchanting city. The staff is quite helpful--they even brought a refrigerator to our room when I requested one--not many places would do that! Be prepared to walk up steps (here again, reflecting the city itself). Beds... More

My trip to Guanajuato was spectacular in every way and of course the hotel Meson poetas was a great choice not only for the location, but for the attention of the staff and the warmth of the place, my rest was very comforting. If you are thinking to go there, do not hesitate to have a good choice of accommodations... More

We find this hotel thanks to TripAdv and we really appreciated the reviews. We stayed here only for one night but it worth it. The hotel is really conserved and charming, the rooms are big and spacious, even if the rooms are weirdly ordered you'll love walking the stairs. The location is just great, it is in the center of... Location, Location, Location..This Hotel is located close to almost everything in Guanajunto. The Jardin de la Union, Teatro Juarez, University of Guanajuato, and the Diego Rivera Museum and Home as well as many other sites are within a 5-10 minute walk. In addition, it's location off the main streets make it a nice and quite location. The rooms, while quite... More
