We stayed here at the beginning, and again at the end of our Habitat for Humanity build to Mineral de Pozos. Guanajuato is a fantastic city--feels like it could be in . Europe. Felt very safe here. Our group of 8 university students spent 3 nights at Casa Malitsin and we were really happy with the experience. Martin and his family were wonderful hosts and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and productive. Casa Malítsin is a great place to stay, short term or long term, while visiting or studying in Guanajuato. The location is great—it’s only a five minute walk downhill to the main plaza, and only a couple more to several Spanish language schools. My husband and I stayed at Casa Malitsin while we studied Spanish. The room was so comfortable with a spacious bathroom. We had a balcony as well. very clean with spacious private bath and private balcony. only issue was that i booked for 7 nights and after arrival was told i could be there for only 5. something came up with the owner. loved the place though!
