This was a very disappointing experience. The staff was rude, the food was sub-par, the room was so bland and uninspiring. The room was expensive so I had high expectations. The bathroom had 2 towels, no floor towel, a package of travel kleenex, shampoo and conditioner. There was no hotel info in the room ie: how to call the front... More

The staff really was challenged with full capacity to get everyone fed. The breakfast bar was par excellent, and everyone was having a great time. A bit overcrowded, but it was a good stay over. I wanted to go back and take my grandkids, they honor Cervantes.

You know that, when you have 2 princesses as daughters and the chance to sleep in a castle, you'll pick it. The place is nice. Your friends will envy your pictures and your children will be quite excited, until they get to they room and find out that the TV's cable is not working and that no one will fix... More

We stayed one night in this hotel. The outside looks really nice, however the rooms could use some renovation. Our room was clean and confortable, the air conditioner works really good, and the view from your room is amazing. There is no wifi in the rooms and you have to go to the front desk in order to get signal... More

The hotel has an excellent appearance but, the rooms are not so comfortable. It is not so clean and we had electricity problems and the hotel didn't solve them. And I also think it's expensive for the service they bring! So I don't recommend it.

The kids loved this place, despite the lack of updates that some snobbier travelers seek. However, the view, the personality and the value make this place an absolute winner. There are patios and public rooms galore, and it takes the better part of a morning to explore. We thought the rooms were fine, although they were older. I have heard... More

The medieval type buildings are amazing (uniqless in Mexico) and the rooms are nice and have originality. But there is a strong lack of maintenence and beds are not comfortables. Our rooms has two flats very nice

IT si a petty that such a beautiful construction does not receive proper maintenance. Our room was big enough with a nice terrace, but the sink was liking. The furniture is very old and our drawer was a bit broke. I have to say that the location is very nice, the from desk personal is very kind and the gardens... More

We stayed at this castle-hotel for the last four days of 2013 and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Being that we were of different ages, (my wife and I along with daughter and 14 year old grandson - two separate rooms), it was significant to note that all four of us found it to be a truly... We were there this weekend. We were a little disappointed that they were out of so many things in the restaurant and that the bar was closed the time we were there- but the views, accommodation and staff attentiveness makes this place a great place to relax and enjoy all of the views of Guanajuato. The price has gone up... More
