I came to Guadalajara for a business trip, alone. I had never been in Guadalajara and booked a room at La Perla due to the reviews on Trip Advisor. I was very pleased! I felt very safe and comfortable in Guadalajara, thanks to all of the advice, printed maps and even a personalized walking tour by Lorenzo. The location is... More

Very unique B & B with lots of character, that is close to everything. Lorenzo and his boys were excellent. Walking tour with Lorenzo when we arrived. We stayed in the room with a queen size bed that had the large balcony. Breakfast was ready no matter what time you get up. We were greeted at the gate at whatever... More

I had just been to Guadalajara in May 2014 - but I wanted to go somewhere special during the Christmas/New Year holidays. And I felt Guadalajara and La Perla calling me back. I'm glad I went. La Perla feels likes staying in a private home with friends. The special attention to detail that Lars and Chris provide is amazing. Every... More

A great place. Just three rooms. Mine was really big, and wonderfully quiet at night. The hosts are tremendously friendly, and help you feel like you're part of a community, not just a short-term visitor. The location is ideal. It's a 15 or 20 minute walk to the Centro in one direction and the buzzing restaurant district in the other.... More

We highly recommend La Perla. To us it seemed the perfect B and B experience. The location was convenient, the neighborhood safe, the house and our room were beautiful, and the breakfasts were just right. We were treated as though we were old and valued friends. These guys have a real gift for hospitality. Lorenzo took us on a walking... More

This was our first time in Guadalajara, and we found La Perla to be perfectly located on a quiet street in the elegant part of town. The hotel is quiet, clean, beautiful and well-appointed. Our room was perfect; the bathroom was ideal and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Their attention to detail is remarkable! Lights on the stairs, coffee on... More

We can recommend this beautiful B & B to our friends. The hosts are super friendly and helpful in so many ways, Lorenzo actually found concerts in the area and found Alejandro Fernandez for us, told us where to go to purchase tickets and we had a great. The home is beautiful decorated, bed very comfortable, pillows where great. The... More

Just returned from two nights at La Perla and we were extremely happy with our stay. Spotlessly clean, comfortable(our daughter used the word 'cozy' when she visited), and wonderfully furnished, located within walking distance of I don't know HOW many good restaurants/nightspots but located on a side street that was quiet enough for relaxing/sleeping, and the owners Christopher and Lars... Our first visit to this cultured city brought us to the LaPerla B&B...what a joy! Lorenzo and staff gifted us with smiles from the time we arrived to the morning of our departure at 3:30am and (had coffee hot and ready for us!) The home is a collection of art, history and ecletic furnishings that just all fits perfectly! The... More

Clean, beautiful, perfectly located and the hospitality offered was outstanding! Every detail of my stay was addressed. Lars provided a wonderful walking tour of the historic areas. Restaurants were close by and there was no limit of great suggestions. A lovely breakfast was served in the mornings and a 'to do' list was offered each day for cultural, shopping and... More
