Great location, beautiful ambiance with rich colors and furnishings. The rooms are very lovely and comfortable. Do not miss two things: 1) breakfast in the downstairs restaurant, excellent fruit, yogurt, granola and coffee, and 2) the rooftop swimming pool was divine.

Hotel Morales is a classic and efficient hotel. It has a elegant lobby, an excellent pool and exercise room. The staff is very helpful, pleasant and can speak English well. We really worked the front desk with our questions and needs and they were just great! Especially the AM young crew who gave us an enthusiastic thumbs up when we... More

I want to corroborate the other reviews - the Morales is a gem, gorgeous in every way, with a genuine colonial decor, an outstanding staff that provides excellent customer service. It has a fabulous location - close to many accessible restaurants, and all major sites - and a great restaurant of its own, El Ruedo. We stayed March 20-24 and... More

This February our group of four took a quick trip to Guadalajara just to get the feel of the place. Our stay at the Hotel Morales was fantastic. Our rooms were a great size and nicely appointed. It is right in the heart of all the old vintage buildings and historical sites. There sitting and lounging areas had some of... More

Spent four nights here in March 2014.. Hotel is very attractive, built around interior courtyard with four floors. Restaurant with live piano music during the breakfast hours. Nice pool on the fourth floor with some sitting areas and a small gym. Roof terrace on the fifth floor with some okay views of Guadalajara and some good sitting areas. Room was... More

We stayed for 8 days at Hotel Morales and as we unfortunately do not speak Spanish, I credit it for making our entire stay in Guadalajara very enjoyable. All the employees are very accommodating and helpful from beginning to end. The location is excellent to everything one might want to see and do. Through the hotel the Concierge even contacted... This is a very well run hotel with an outstanding staff. I stayed for 10 days and everyone from the bellmen to the front desk were consistently helpful and pleasant. English is spoken, but they will also let you try out your Spanish if you like too. As in all things with this hotel, they are ready to work with... More
