This hotel was a stopover for us before a flight out the next day and it really made me want to stay there much longer. It was clean, elegant and just a few blocks to many historical and cultural tourist attractions. Our room was spacious and the air conditioning and internet worked great, as did the jacuzzi. It was a... More

We stayed at the Morales in March for two nights. We arrived on an early morning flight, but were allowed to check in well ahead of the normal check-in time which was great! This hotel has been heavily, but tastefully, renovated. We stayed in the newer section with a courtyard (interior) window. This suited us just fine as we really... More

My mother and I stayed for six nights when we came from England for a wedding. Morales is beautiful, has every amenity and comfort and the staff down to every man and woman are charming and helpful. Neither of us are fluent in Spanish and it was reassuring to know that there was no question that the front desk did... More

This was our second visit to Guadalajara within two years and we decided to stay at the beautiful Hotel Morales again. The staff is wonderful, always cheery and friendly. We ordered in-room dining service several times, and the food is great. The hotel is located within the colonial, historic district and walking distance from many historic attractions. We love this... More

Great location in Historic Guadalajara. Amazing Hotel architecture, Casona style. Free Valet parking, and parking is close to impossible to find, Great service, very comfortable rooms, amazingly hot and strong water pressure in bathrooms(is in issue in some hotels in Mexico), and great Breakfast buffet (chef cooks custom egg dishes on request) about 10 for adults and 5-6 for kids.

What a beautiful surprise! My colleague recommended that we stay at Hotel Morales, during a conference, and it was perfect. Very comfortable room, stunning hotel, gracious hosts, and well located near many historical sites. I am also grateful for the sound-proof window in the bathroom, as the hotel is also near some pretty loud clubs. Wish that I had more... More

When my mom and I traveled to Guadalajara in February 2012 for a quinceanera, we stayed in the North of the city to be closer to our friends. For our visit in May 2013, we decided to stay at the Hotel Morales in the centre of the city, and it was worth it! We arrived late at night and checked... More

Wow, what a beautiful place! I stayed with my girlfriend for a weekend in this beautiful restored hotel: the entrance is breathtaking, perfectly maintained and gives a very welcome feeling. Rooms are large with all amenities needed: bathroom with jacuzzi, flatscreen, great bed and a lot of space. We loved the open space outside the room as well. Within 5... More

My friends and I aren't too familiar with Guadalajara, and we chose hotel morales based on the reviews. The hotel is beautiful and historic. For my second visit to Guadalajara, I thought I'd give the most famous historical hotel a go, and it did not disappoint overall. We got a good deal and I'd say it was worth it. Its location can't be beat - right in the city centre. Although the area can get a little dodgy at night, the hotel felt secure,... More
