Stayed for 2 nights. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Basic, but is expected for this area of town. Great local food within a few blocks. Small with only 7 rooms (feels like a converted house). Took care of a few bookings including taxi to tequila, and spa. Will come back.

Our visit to Guadalajara was excellent. If you've never been to this fine city it should be on the short list for anyone wanting a real taste of mexican culture. This small 7 room hotel was ideal for us considering the price and location. Some truly stunning architecture all over this neighborhood located about 1 mile from the city center.... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel in December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is probably the best in the city. We have visited Guadalajara a few times and this area near to Avenue Chapultepec is really superb. There are ton of restaurants and bars in every direction from the hotel and the area feels safe at all hours... More

I booked this hotel purely by recommendations and high ratings on TripAdvisor. I was a bit disappointed. Price for the room was ok, but absolutely not in the low end of the scale. From this fact I expected more. Room was quite spacious and even came with a balcony, but it was not very well equipped. An armchair or a... More

My wife and I have been to LA FE twice in the last couple months. The first time we were fleeing Hurricane Patricia and LA FE was so kind to allow us refuge with our cats. The room was clean and pleasant. It was on the first floor next to a very cute restaurant. The restaurant had an opera singer... More

By chance I found this hotel, located between calle Lopez Cotilla and calle Vallarta, close to the city center, and my long stay, almost a week, was really good. My room was wide and confortable, the style was Mexican and materials were natural.

The hotel is ok. Rooms are a bit small.. It could improve a lot by just lighting the rooms properly. It could definitely be cleaner. I found hair (not my own) on the pillows and floor. Service was OK.

La Fe is a well re-designed home located in the heart of Guadalajara, so you are basically close to everything but on Fridays the noise of nearby bars is a little loud. The room was big and had everything you need.

The blanket was not washed properly. It had a bad smell. I think that they do not wash the blanket after each gest check out. Other point is that I suggest that the breakfast they offer for an additional fee should be available earlier in the morning.

My sincere apologies for our mistake. Virtually none of our guests use those blankets in the summer due to the heat but that is no excuse...it should have been fresh and clean. As a note to any and all guests, if you experience problems in your room or with service please communicate it to staff and/or management so we can... More
