Great location, perfect mattress but the rest is bad. As soon as you walk outisde by the taxi stand you feel there is something bad, wrong and not nice about this hotel. None of the staff can outside can smile and it feels like you are in a maximum security zone. What is wrong with all those men outside who... more

The Good - This Hotel is currently undergoing renovations but already looks quite good. The general layout and design of the Hotel is interesting and quite attractive. The facilities and room furnishings are top quality. Newly renovated rooms include flat screen TV's and very modern well furnished bathrooms Most of the staff are easy to deal with and can speak... more

This is hotel is being renovated, meanwhile business is continued. Hard job, causing lots of noise and working people all around, although they do there best to avoid any disturbance, this is not always the case. I stayed on the 21st floor, already renovted. A decent and well furnished, clean room, with a magnificent view. Sofar the good news I... more

Calling this Intercontinental Hotel a 5 star deluxe property is very to say the least not that easy and may only be valid once some serious face lift and upgrades in quality product as well as guest service has been achieved. We both found that this hotel does promises more via its brand name then it actually can deliver at... more

This hotel is really not up to the Standarts of Intercontinental. The Hotel is old. Food at the Hotel is not great. Better food is availible right outside the hotel at Plaza del Sol. Rooms are old and outdated. No free High Speed Internet and the Wireless Internet that is offered is slow more

The hotel has problems. The furniture is old. The closet door did not close properly. The internet is expensive ($13.30/day), slow (hardly broad-band) and erratic (went off twice). Everything is extra and expensive. Breakfast ($ 18), water ($7 for a small bottle), coffee kit in the room ($ 4). The coffe machine in the room did not work properly, anyway.... more

First, they insult you with all whatever comes to their mind. I paid in advance, had a company-guaranteed stay and still every day I had to find a new letter in my room from the front desk regarding what more I should pay. In the end they even wanted me to compansate for the currency exchange differences that occurred because... more

They charge you everything, from TV usage to drink water and even local phone calls. We checked-in in the morning, but they didn't clean the room until the next day after 4 pm, when we complained to the supervisor. The room is small, with old beds, bad ilummination. There were no AC connections, so you have to unplug your cell... more
