This hotel is really not up to the Standarts of Intercontinental. The Hotel is old. Food at the Hotel is not great. Better food is availible right outside the hotel at Plaza del Sol. Rooms are old and outdated. No free High Speed Internet and the Wireless Internet that is offered is slow more

The hotel has problems. The furniture is old. The closet door did not close properly. The internet is expensive ($13.30/day), slow (hardly broad-band) and erratic (went off twice). Everything is extra and expensive. Breakfast ($ 18), water ($7 for a small bottle), coffee kit in the room ($ 4). The coffe machine in the room did not work properly, anyway.... more

First, they insult you with all whatever comes to their mind. I paid in advance, had a company-guaranteed stay and still every day I had to find a new letter in my room from the front desk regarding what more I should pay. In the end they even wanted me to compansate for the currency exchange differences that occurred because... more

They charge you everything, from TV usage to drink water and even local phone calls. We checked-in in the morning, but they didn't clean the room until the next day after 4 pm, when we complained to the supervisor. The room is small, with old beds, bad ilummination. There were no AC connections, so you have to unplug your cell... more

I rate hotels on four basic needs: Bed The king bed was large, but nothing special. Sheets were standard K mart issue Internet Internet was fairly reliable, but after booking a club floor room, which the website said came with complimentary internet, they charged me $15/day. Shower Here is where they really fall down. The water pressure on the club... more

This hotel is located in the heart of Guadalajara. Great location in front of Plaza del Sol (the largest shopping mall in town) I went for a business trip (food show convention). The convention was held at Expo Guadalajara which was 5-10 minutes away (depending on traffic). Near the hotel there are a lot of options to go eat. Also,... more

This hotel surprised me after the mixed reviews. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged two day trips and told me how to do other cities on my own. Buses are directly out the front door. Cabs are there 24/7. The rooms were large and clean. The buffet breakfast was included with our room and it was excellent.... more

The best service in any hotel in Mexico, for sure! Okay, honestly, I thought this hotel would be horrible and I kicked myself for not having stayed at the Hilton, my usual favorite hotel. But now I will honestly chose this hotel over the Hilton due to the staff, service, and the courteous managers. The moment I got to the... more

One would expect a business oriented upscale hotel to be at the very least oriented to a business travelers needs, yet this property is not even up to Hampton Inn standards. Nice lobby & public areas, but the rooms while large are old, worn, uncomfortable, and fairly low end (towels, bedding, etc...). The service couldn't be worse (missed wake up... more
