Where to start with the negatives of a hotel that bills itself as 4-star? Seriously? Ok, walls so thin it was like the neighbors were in my bed. They partied for a long time do if they had been in my bed I could have kicked them out. I could hear every single word. Non-existent Internet even though they said... More

I just got back from a trip to Guadalajara, had placed to stay with family but because I was traveling with 2 kids and one was not doing well with the heat (we are from the pacific NW) we moved to a hotel. Unfortunately there was a big convention and not many hotels had availability. These were some of the... More

I booked this hotel as a short stay heading toads another city on vacation. When I pulled up I was briefly pleased as the entrance was beautiful. However when I got to the room it was ugly, uncomfortable, and I did not feel safe because the door was flimsy, left a gap and no deadlock. I didn't get much sleep... More

The rooms where dirty, just 1 plug, internet service was very bad. Hallways were very muggy and the carpet in the rooms was dirty. Bed was very uncomfortable, and the cleanness of the room spike my allergies.

Location is absolutely great, very central, in my favourite part of Guadalajara where you can find many beautiful small restaurants, cafes and bars. Night life is great with various concerts and shows on the street. Unfortunately hotel is really old and needs renovations. Horrible amenities and most of all the bathroom. Do not recommend having breakfast at the hotel dining... More

So, I needed a hotel that was close to the U.S. embassy, that was the only thing this hotel had in favor. Hotel needs a serious paint job on the outside. The water in the showe was either really hot or really cold, you have to adjust it for several minutes to be tolerable. Once in the shower you had... More

I like staying there a lot because of the location. Center of the city, Chapultepec is very near, cafe Providencia (which is half a block away) is the best breakfast spot in town. The rooms of Laffayette are a little gloomy though, the internet connection is average and strongly depends on the location of your suite. The windows in the... More

The hotel is old and needs a renovation. The rooms are small and not all of them have internet access. The staff is the only good thing about the hotel. But beware, the worst thing was that early on the morning someone entered our room and then disappeared, it was not the service maid because I immediately went out a... More

This is definitely not a good hotel to stay for business. Goods: Location (if you are going to the US consulate) Friendly Staff Bads: Breakfast too expensive. I would say abusively expensive Worst internet ever. if you need to work do not stay on this hotel. the pictures of the hotel are either way to old or they are fixed.... More

Just stay one night, but really liked it. Good service,STAFF is really nice, I liked the room, it's big enough, cozy, and very clean. The location was excelent because you have Av. Chapultepec just at the corner.
