Charming little cottages - excellent for families looking for long-term accommodation. Our family of 4 stayed there for 6 months. There's a pool, surrounded by tall stone walls and canyon. The whole compound is walled, with grassy lawns where we played wuffle ball. We had a kitchen, dining room, living room, patio, 1 bedroom, with maid service daily, carport, gateman. It might be hard to get into - book early.

When we stayed there it was "Suites" Margarita. It is a very unique place, in that the rooms are actually cottages separated by grassy garden. They are all one-bedroom with two double beds, but some people put an extra bed for kids in the very large walk-in closet. (It has a small window.) There are usually families there, because there is room to play in the grass. The pool is down the hill, a little hike on a large, grassy ramp. It is all about 5' deep. The cottages have a living room, dining room and small but separate kitchen. They are situated in such a way that each one has privacy. We really liked it here! We needed a place to receive guests for meals. The kitchen tools were pretty rudimentary, but with a good saute pan and a wok from home, I did fine. I don't know the present price, but it should compare with a very nice apartment. more
