The room is well decorated, TV is OK, it has an HDMI input that is a little bit difficult to reach, if you are traveling with kids this has no price as you can get Netflix running from your computer or tablet or any device with an HDMI output ( I always suggest to bring a 5' Redmere HDMI cable... I found this place looking for hotels with good location near the city center of Guadalajara. Since I was only going for the weekend and wanted to relax a bit I got a room/suite with jacuzzi and the best view. Their customer service was not exceptional in any way but the price I paid for their suite easily compensated for... More

Feet away from the intermodal subway station Juarez it's very well located. By far the best value compared to the same price hotel. It's at a walking distance from all the major touristic sites. Very clean, our room was on the street side, but was not noisy at all, due to the quality of the window. Free and ample parking.... More

Booked a room 2 queen beds . When I get there they did not have my reservation! When they finally confirmed I did have one (once I gave them my reservation number) they found it. However they had me booked for one king size bed. Tired and hungry after a long flight my kids just wanted to relax. The receptionist... More

Just returned from a two day stay at Hotel Portobelo. We were pleased to find they are upgrading and maintaining the hotel. There were new towels and new sheets and new comforters and pillows and new window coverings as well. Congratulations! Makes us even more committed to stay at this beautifully located hotel.

We had two different rooms in this hotel, in the first one everything was perfect. Very clean, big room, a little noisy because of the location. But the second room had no internet at all. Which is terribly annoying when you're trying to look for information on where to go, what to do, or simply want to communicate with people... More

I stayed one night. Had a good-sized comfortable room and slept well. Breakfast buffet was OK, but not spectacular; omelets were available upon request. The hotel is near the junction of the north-south and east-west subway lines. About a six-block walk to Expiatorio Temple, a church with a noteworthy clock tower. Not much else to report since I had no... More

We stayed here for 4 nights & found the location very central & easy to find. We got the local bus from the long distance bus station then had a 10 minute walk. The hotel is modern with lots of amenities in the room. Our room was huge with a great bed, sofa, fantastic hot shower plus lots of extras... More
