The noisiest place in this fantastic city. You can hear what happens everywhere in the hotel and around all night long The breakfast is the worst experience in the country and the waiters are just indifferent... Never go there again

This is a lovely hotel. Very good staff, very clean, pretty quiet for sleeping at night. Right near everything , so easy to walk around to the main sights. Excellent restaurant-we ate all breakfasts and three dinners there-great food and staff. Only one problem after checkout and payment, when they said we owed more money, but the problem got settled.

Lovely building, adequate rooms like any other hotel, good service. But being right in the historic center? You could have charged me twice as much and I would have been happy. Bathrooms are dated but functional. Small pool area. Suite rooms, for our family of four, had a separation between sleeping area and living area which was really nice. No... More

I stayed in other hotels in Guadalajara previously and they were good. But when my prior choices were full this time around I decided on the Mendoza, primarily because of its superior location at the center of the city, just a block from the Teatro Delgado and Plaza de Liberacion and just a short distance from the Basilica. I liked... More

This hotel is in the most perfect location in the heart of Guadalajara. Everything is walking distance, literally everything is one to two blocks away. The hop on hop off Tapatio tour bus, one block away, Teatro Degollado- across the street! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They even helped us make our dinner reservations! We were just... More

I didn't book until the night before my arrival. I was looking for a single room, but they were booked, so I was given a room with two double beds. The room has central A/C that worked, was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and instant hot water. English is spoken at the front desk. Best of all is the... More

It's a good hotel and well located. You can walk to many interesting places around the downtown or walk to main streets to take a cab. Pleasant rooms and the food is not bad (but certainly not great either). The personnel service is great.

A beautiful, former convent that is now one of my top picks in this city. The room is comfortable, clean (carpeted floor but still in a great condition) and spacious. I (we) got one in the third floor with a nice view to Guadalajara's scenery. The bathroom has a comfy bathtub (an unexpected surprise) and the amenities are more than... More

Being something of a cheap skate I (we) don't stay in places this deluxe. This was a treat. I would call it four star, certainly relevant to where we usually stay it was. Staff were friendly and competent, concierge service for cabs or questions. Rooms very nice, instant hot water, great towels, we had a queen size bed, a real... More

Busy (tours) older hotel with pleasant rooms...sans heating...and dated corridors. Busy restaurant with slow service. Good doorman. We stayed at both this hotel and the hotel Morales on either end of a vacation....would chose the latter for ambience and price, how're this one wasn't bad, just okay. No heat...and the promised extra blanket never arrived despite several requests.
