I stayed here for a business conference and was very pleased. Check in was quick and easy and the staff attentive and helpful. I liked the open plan nature of the hotel centre and the gardens were perfectly kept. I My room was OK but the bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The room was clean and the... More

Arrangements to stay were made my a friend, a native of Guadalajara and I did not see the bill, so cannot comment on value. The Hotel has lovely grounds and service was uniformly friendly and responsive. The several breakfasts we partook of were excellent as was the one dinner. The room, as with most rooms in the hotel, was a... More

I have stayed there before and both times booked on other sites , expedia etc . They do not except the booking when you arrive and charge a higher price ( we thought it was a mistake the first time .) We know better to ever book again . The staff not helpful with the booking they tell you you... More

I was very iffy about the hotel when I pulled up, but was really delighted when I got to my room. Everything is on the ground floor and every room has a patio. The rooms are not plush, but they are very nice. There was a fridge in my room, but it was not very clean. On the property was... More

The property is incredible and so are the gardens and restaurants, but it is a pity because the rooms are old and smelly and the carpets are terrible. There is a fridge in the rooms that does not work and is very very dirty, I don't know why they don't remove it. They accept connecting rooms when you make your... More

Stayed 3 nights there and was very comfortable. Nice grounds, restaurants had excellent service and food. Main pool not heated and other pools small. The hotel is one of the oldest nice hotels in the city. Rooms didnt come with bottled water. Rooms are large and clean. Nice beds and pillows.

I had to stay two days in Guadalajara and chose the Camino Real for its reputation. It was a scary welcome at the desk with a customer screaming his lungs out about being precharged by the hotel the equivalent of a thousand dollars without his authorization. Although I do love open air hallways et al, the path to my room... More

We usually like boutique hotels and properties and this one was spot on. Even though it has more rooms than our usual stops, the service and amenities were superior. From check in to check out, room service and restaurant service were great. Centrally located so you don't have to necessarily have taxi service and within a half dozen blocks can... More

I appreciated the secluded feel of the hotel grounds, just off one of the busiest roads in the city. The hotel's design felt a little outdated, but it didn't detract from the experience of the stay. The breakfast buffet is abundant and tasty. My only complaint is that I arrived in the morning from an overnight flight, and the reception... More

This hotel is definitely older but I had no issues. It seems to be renovated relatively recently. The furniture in the rooms was nice and everything seemed fine. No complaints about the room. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and relaxing. Sitting outside each night and having a beverage under the huge trees was nice and enjoyable. The... More
