The Hotel Aranazu Centro is really next to the old Center and in that sense excellent for truistic purposes and for work at the science campus of the University of Guadalajara, which is why I was there. Rooms are very adequate, service is pleasant ad helpful and pieces are excellent, particularly with the University discount. The breakfast buffet is good!... More

This hotel is horrible. I read the bad reviews and wanted to give it a try, well I did. I was asked to be moved three times. The first (hairs on the sheets). Second, (urine all over the toilet). Third, the bathroom sink collapsed, (I will post pictures of this). This was dangerous. The sink broke and shattered, even reaching... More

The hotel lobby makes it look decent but once the elevator doors opens the smell of a 40 year old carpet comes to you. Even more so in the room. Very old furniture horrible lighting and ugly bathrooms. Everything is clean though but won't come back here.

This hotel caters to Mexicans. They are very unfriendly towards Americans. The rooms and maids are nice. Everyone in reception was very unfriendly. I was the only foreigner staying in this huge hotel.

An average hotel at a quite central location in Guadalajara. Even though most people rate it as dirty and horrible, there is nothing to worry about: an average, clean place to stay with free wifi in the lobby.

The hotel was awful. The day we arrived one of the rooms wasn't been cleaned and my colleagues had to sleep in a dirty room. In the room I stayed there was a terrible smell and when someone in other floor used the toilet all the pipe's smell invaded our room. And the room have no windows and the air... More

I usually like to take control of my reservations, but a travel agent in Mexico said that this hotel was clean and just as good at Trip Advisor's #1 rated hotel in Guadalajara(Holiday Inn). I trusted her and was highly disappointed when I walked into the lobby. I could tell by the dirty couches, the unfriendly staff(except for Bell Boy)... More

My employer has always book me at the Expo Plaza Hotel because it is 30 steps across the expo center. However, I was back to Guadalajara visiting some of my friends back in August, and the reason I choose this hotel is because they are cheap about $70/night. This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. The entire... More
