I planned my entire vacation around Casa de las Flores, based on the reviews I read here on TripAdvisor. And once again, I am thrilled with where TripAdvisor has led me. At Casa de las Flores, this is what you get: -A very comfortable bed -A good shower, including their lovely oatmeal honey soap -A substantial breakfast, alternating between cereals... more

We just returned from our third stay at Casa de la Flores and like the previous two trips it was absolutely great! The hotel is in walking distance to great shopping and restaraunts. Stan & Jose are wonderful hosts. They could not be more accomodating to whatever needs you may have - Stan is a wealth of information on the... more

Adults considering a trip to Guadalajara/Tlaquepaque and looking for a special and memorable stay should look no further than Casa de las Flores. I seldom give unequivocal recommendations, but our recent stay at this jewel of a bed and breakfast was quite simply perfect. Hosts Stan, José, and Christian, along with an attentive and friendly staff, have managed to combine... more

Tlaquapaque is a suburb of Guadalajara and a quaint town of its own, and Casa de Las Flores is a fantastic place stay. We have now been there three times and plan to return soon. The inn itself is a beautiful oasis full of folk art, flowering trees, and wonderful staff. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the breakfasts... more

Casa de Las Flores is a magical bed and breakfast.! From the moment you step into the art-filled reception room to the flowering gardens and finally to one of the traditional folk art decorated rooms, we have the sense that we are finally vacationing in true Mexican style. The ambience and service is only exceeded by its attentive staff led... more

Ditto what other people have said. A few things I would like to add: 1. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are very nice. 2. Breakfasts are awesome. 3. Get the ceramic history lesson from Stan. It is definitely worth it. 4. Talk to them about visiting artist studios. This is the place to stay in the Guadalajara area. Great... more

We have made several trips to Casa de las Flores in the last 5 months and have never been disappointed. From the our first inquiry to our departure, we couldn't be more pleased with the level of service we receive, service that is always consistent and given with a smile. We are always greeted with a complimentary cocktail (the margaritas... more

Chef and co-host Stan made the most wonderful breakfasts as well as many evenings dessert. He circulated with all the guest providing a very knowledgeable and educational tour of the many folk art pieces that he and his co host Jose had gathered over the years both in their private collection as well as for sale at the B&B. Outside... more

The magic that is Guadalajara does live behind the adobe walls of a culturally and aristically rich and vibrant city where hospitality and warm gracious people greet you on every corner and in every shop and with every day. These are the kinds of memories and feelings imprinted from my very first trip to Guadalajara; a trip that began at... more

Casa de las Flores, Tlaquepaque, Mexico This past February my husband and I returned to the Casa de las Flores for the third time. We both agree that it is our very favorite place to stay while we are in Mexico. It is truly a world unto its own. The rooms are decorated with the best of Mexican arts and... more
