Having lunch at las mañanitas is an experience. In the middle of downtown Cuernavaca is this oasis of plants and birds. When you arrive, you are seated at the garden where you are offered drinks and an appetizer of chips and their amazing dip. You sit admiring the gardens and the peacocks and macaws. Then you are taken to the... More

The property was so pretty and so well maintained. The spa beautiful! Had one of the best massages I've ever had at this spa! We loved having cocktails in the lounge area I like the snacks that came with drinks and watching the peacocks roam around. We okay breakfast in the restaurant and a great dinner there. Very romantic. The... More

I would like to know where people go to be satisfied who give a negative review on this hotel. I have stayed here for years and years and have never been anything but completely satisfied. If this property doesn't meet your most discerning requirements I don't know where you should go. The food, the service, the people who work there,... More

This was a favorite for many years, with the lush gardens, and the flamingos and peacocks roaming freely among the guests who relaxed in the gardens with a drink while they chose their menus and waited for tables.........yesterday was the 2nd time within 6 months we returned to the restaurant and we had the same unfavorable experience. Although we had... More

We visit Cuernavaca each February to escape the cold up north and every year we go do Las Mananitas. The margaritas are the best in town, I think. The menu is extensive and offers selections in all food groups from soup and salad to entrees and dessert. Prices are reasonable for this 5 star restaurant. Service is excellent, the gardens... Cuernavaca, just an hour and a half to the south of Mexico City, claims with some justice to be the City of Eternal Spring. It has associations with some of the major figures in Mexican history: Hernan Cortes, Emperor Maximilian and the revolutionary Emiliano Zapata. The Hotel Las Mananitas is the leading hotel in this city. Las Mananitas is a... More

This place is just the best. I haven't stayed here, but I've experienced dinner a handful of times and it's always, ALWAYS amazing. It's not any one thing that stands out, it's the way it all blends. The food, the atmosphere, music, service and the best Margaritas on the planet. In a city of some wonderful choices, this is always... More

We shared #1 suite with friends and enjoyed a fire and cocktails before dinner! Fabulous room and we awoke to a peacock strutting around our porch! The pool and grounds are lovely. Las mananitas is like arivate estate and you will feel lucky that it is being shared with you. I will gladlynreturn every chance I get.

Love this place, everytime I go to Cuernavaca, I go to Las Mañanitas. Sorry I gave a low grade on "location", the thing is that all the way to arrive to this magnificent place is kind of ugly, but once you're there, one starts feeling fabolous. Also great garden areas, magnificent birds, love the pool. If eating a lot is... More
