I did not stay here overnight but did come here to meet friends one evening for cocktails. After almost two full weeks in Cuernavaca, this place felt like a slice of heaven. I stayed with a family in Cuernavaca while taking an intensive language program for teachers. I loved my experience and felt completely safe during my visit. I walked... More

Las Mañanitas is a beautiful, magical retreat on an unassuming street. I’ve not stayed on the hotel but have dined here a number of times over the years. The food is good, but it’s worth going just for the lovely outdoor setting, the exotic birds, the large gardens and the old school charm. It’s a tranquil, urban escape. The service... More

I felt like I was at a private home of a Mexican celebrity - or any celebrity or person who enjoys the finer things in life - nestled in the middle of the city - is this sprawling mansion - with gardens, a nice lawn with exotic birds and relaxing pool... great restaurant where they serve possibly the best eggs... Went with curiosity given mixed reviews. It was a shock reaching the town and turning into the street and finding it was bulldozed and inaccessible. Got to reception via garage and side footpath. Staff were friendly and gave us free upgrade. Room was spacious, a bit outdated but the balcony view was superb. Bath leaked quite heavily. Meals were good... More

Mexico in general has been getting a lot of bad press lately, some of which is richly deserved. Shootings in restaurants, bodies hung from bridges, and severed heads turning up in coolers are enough to make one write off the entire country and go elsewhere. Then again, as I write this, there are riots going on in Ferguson, Missouri over... More

This hotel is in need of a refresh. My room was so poor that we checked out after just one night. Upon arrival I noticed that the lamp was broken and the carpet was disgustingly dirty. I guess no one checked the condition of the lamp when they cleaned the room. Asked for the lamp to be fixed, it was,... More

This hotel, has beautiful views, peacocks are wandering out there and make the place look peaceful, the food at the restaurant has a good taste -very expensive-, but good. One can take a walk, for example, after having breakfast and makes you feel good. Rooms are comfortable. It's located right in downtown which makes it a colonial place, you can... More

You can tell this was once a beautiful hotel with real old world charm. However, it is like a once beautiful woman who is not aging very well. It is in serious need of an update to bathrooms, beds and furniture. This hotel is not up the standards one expects for Relais y Chateau hotels and makes me wonder when... More

The hotel itself is beautiful, you feel in your own old mansion.. The attention of the staff both in the restaurant and hotel and spa is excellent, food is delicious and they basically obligate you to enjoy amd relax each time... The hydrotherapy circuit in the spa is a most to complete the experience!!
