Cuernavaca, just an hour and a half to the south of Mexico City, claims with some justice to be the City of Eternal Spring. It has associations with some of the major figures in Mexican history: Hernan Cortes, Emperor Maximilian and the revolutionary Emiliano Zapata. The Hotel Las Mananitas is the leading hotel in this city. Las Mananitas is a... More

This place is just the best. I haven't stayed here, but I've experienced dinner a handful of times and it's always, ALWAYS amazing. It's not any one thing that stands out, it's the way it all blends. The food, the atmosphere, music, service and the best Margaritas on the planet. In a city of some wonderful choices, this is always... More

We shared #1 suite with friends and enjoyed a fire and cocktails before dinner! Fabulous room and we awoke to a peacock strutting around our porch! The pool and grounds are lovely. Las mananitas is like arivate estate and you will feel lucky that it is being shared with you. I will gladlynreturn every chance I get.

Love this place, everytime I go to Cuernavaca, I go to Las Mañanitas. Sorry I gave a low grade on "location", the thing is that all the way to arrive to this magnificent place is kind of ugly, but once you're there, one starts feeling fabolous. Also great garden areas, magnificent birds, love the pool. If eating a lot is... More

Las Mañanitas is a wonderful restaurant surrounded by lush gardens. The whole experience of migrating from the garden to the patio to the loggia is unique. The service is impeccable. The food is traditional Mexican but very well done indeed. A must visit in Cuernavaca.

I honestly can't imagine that you wouldn't go to Las Mañanitas if you're in Cuernavaca. It is one of my favorite places to be. It's home to the best Margarita I have ever had. The food is absolutely delicious, the the service is spot on. The atmosphere is sublime. You leave the rough streets and enter an oasis of civility... More

I've been coming to this hotel and restaurant since 1988. The place itself is what is the most special about it. The gardens, trees, rolling grass and Mexican colonial style warm you from inside. The food is traditional Mexican fare, at good premium prices br it comes with quality. Sitting in the garden sipping my favorite Mexican drink is my... More

I have been going to this hotel for over 30 years and although still the best one in cuernavaca per my opinion, it has gone down for the price. The rooms are a little worn and the kitchen is in dire need of a makeover. The carne con rajas used to be a real winner but the quality is not... More

I did not stay here overnight but did come here to meet friends one evening for cocktails. After almost two full weeks in Cuernavaca, this place felt like a slice of heaven. I stayed with a family in Cuernavaca while taking an intensive language program for teachers. I loved my experience and felt completely safe during my visit. I walked... More

Las Mañanitas is a beautiful, magical retreat on an unassuming street. I’ve not stayed on the hotel but have dined here a number of times over the years. The food is good, but it’s worth going just for the lovely outdoor setting, the exotic birds, the large gardens and the old school charm. It’s a tranquil, urban escape. The service... More
