We've been here for four days, the hotel is great, nice service, the meals are spectacular, this is a high level place the prices are high, you can go out to have dinner or lunch because Cuernavaca is very close from the hotel. If you love to play tennis you have 16 tennis courts, so you won't have to wait... More

This used to be the house of multi millionaire Barbara Hutton. The amazing gardens and Japanese style architecture should be part of a luxury hotel. Instead, the Camino Real assumed that a poor service, expensive prices plus terrible food should be enough. The Japanese restaurant is one of the worst I have ever been. Day old fried rice and not... The rooms at Sumiya are pretty old, I'm guessing from the 90´s. The bathroom are small are the deco is from where I'm guessing the 90's era. The landscape and ground of the hotel are geourgous. We stayed here for a wedding, I thought the hotel was overpriced, it worked for our purpose, but I don´t think we will return,... More

This is one of the worst hotels I've been to considering the cost-benefit. They rate temselves as a 5-star hotel, but the rooms are in terrible condition, the "japanese" food at the restaurant is as bad as it is incredibly expensive (for what you get). Also you won't get free internet access and not even one "free" bottle of water.... More

The gardens and the Japanese buildings are outstanding. Food at the restaurant is quite good and the service is fair. Rooms are sooooo bad. Most of the rooms are dark and lighting is almost none. Showers and bathtubs haven't been changed in probably 20 years. A good options would be to have breakfast there and see the Kabuki theater, walk... More

This hotel is beautiful, the Japanese buildings are just breathtaking and the vegetation, trees, and gardens are just beautiful, but the rooms are bad. Terrible lighting in the bathroom and vanity, the mattresses are probably from 1970, the rooms are clean but they have not touched them for 30 years. The door slamming starts very early, and it seems lile... More

The hotel is a beautiful Japanese-themed hotel. The whole lobby area is built to resemble a Japanese palace. Further down, you can find a couple of hotel buildings that are 4-5 stories high. The hotel buildings and the rooms, are not fancy, and they are starting to show their age. They seem to be clean, but the upholstery could be... More

They have really beautiful gardens, Room was nice and clean, towels very good and as much as you want. The shower is absolutely bad..no pressure , I can agree to save water but if you see how much water they use in the gardens than I can't understand why they try to save with the guests. It needed the triple... More

The hotel's location is fairly good, you can go for a walk or run around the premises or outside. Staff a bit overwhelmed over my stay (a few weddings at the same time). Room service ok. Poolside bar closes at 6pm a bit early for a weekend away. Overall a good experience, would love to have paid a little bit... More

Great facilities, the only thing I could complain about is that there is not enough signals to drive there. Food served at the hotel is vast and tasteful people in the lobby are good at their work. In case you don't know the place or want to know what amenities are performed you can ask the hotel workers and you'll... More
