Stayed here for a few nights with my family, including young child, and we all had a great time. Beautiful old buildings and well-maintained gardens combined with some nice modern amenities and helpful staff. Relaxed by the pool, enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the restaurant (although food was average), and loved walking through the grounds. Overall it seems more designed... More

Former mansion of the conquer of Mexico, the property has been successfully adapted to a boutique hotel with a magnificent pressence. Every spot has personality and a related story. The gardens are awsome and easy to enjoy. Travel in time with luxury and use it as base to discover Morelos attractions. Out of all city noise.

Everything is beautiful and immaculate. We were there for a wedding and had a double looking over the pool with the mountains in the distant. Once you enter the gates to the hacienda it's like you're in another world. Everyone is so friendly, the grounds are so beautiful and the food was traditional Mexican gourmet. The breakfast was amazing. The... More

Out of all the haciendas we have seen, this is one of the better conserved and with the nicer gardens. The food we loved is the gourmet and mexican traditional style, this hacienda has great taste. This is an excellent choice for a nice formal event or a romantic getaway. It is also minute from downtown Cuernavaca and many other... More

Superb accommodations on this beautifully renovated and maintained property. Our multi-level, junior suite was dramatically appointed, very comfortable and with good amenities like bathrobes and slippers. A terrace overlooking the extensive gardens is a wonderful plus, and be sure to try the buffet breakfast, a feast of native fare and some gringo favorites. One of us had an expert massage... More

It s a nice hotel with beautiful rooms. I liked the atmosphere the hotel has. The Breakfast is very good as well. Everything is clean and nice equipped. We took the bus to the city centre and it took us about 30 minutes. With the cab it takes 15. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the area.

I stayed in one of the Junior Suites in the old part of the hotel. The room was magnificant with lots of rustic charm. The restaurant had wonderful meals throughout the day (breakfast, lunch & dinner). I enjoyed walking through the gardens and looking at the original portions from the days of Cortes. I recommend this location to anyone staying... More

We went to Hacienda Cortes for 3 days, for a wedding. Our room was very good, but I would reccomend the ones in the "old" wing. They are more charming. Service was excellent at all ocasions. Our little daughter had a wonderful time in the gardens and the pool was perfect for her. The wedding was a huge success, in... More

I attended a small conference in this hotel in July 2012 and found it an exciting experience. The hotel is built around the ruins of the estate house or hacienda built by Cortes, the conqueror of Mexico in the mid 16 century. It was the centre of the earliest sugar industry in the country. There are many remaining walls and foundations... More

To Whom it may concern, I have stayed with my wife at the Hacienda to attend a wedding of our friends that took place there as well. The Hacienda is great, the set up and athmosphere is fantastic. However our blackberry was stolen from our room and two friends of ours reported thefts of handbag and wallet as well. Please... More
