Built around the year 1523, it was the country home of Conqueror Hernán Cortés. Throughout nearly five centuries, it has naturally changed, but always for the better. The gardens are beautifully kept.

Beautiful colonial hotel, pretty and peaceful gardens, full of flowers and trees. With fountains, ancient archs. The bedroom was wonderful, confortable pillows and bed, silent. Food is mexican fusion, very good. I wish it had a gym. It would be perfect

Great gardens, amazing all the history you can live in this hotel. Ex-hacienda created by Hernán Cortés 500 years ago, good explanation in the garden of all this history. The rooms are simple and according to the rest of the place. The aqueduct-like pool is great, a little bit small for me but has a nice touch. You need to... More

The grounds and gardens are simply fantastic. You can explore hidden pathways, salons with antiques, gardens with fountains, etc. The pool with the aqueduct-like columns is awesome. Our family had 2 rooms in the new 6-story section and the rooms were wonderful. Hacienda de Cortes has always been a gem and continues to get better with age.

This hotel has it all: - The service is absolutely attentive and professional. - The rooms are lovely, they have many kinds and decoration of them which is very interesting to see what you get and compare the others. - The food is good and of high level, however the drink selection and preparation can improve - We were on... By far the most beautiful hotel in Cuernavaca. We stayed there for a friends wedding and everything was amazing. The best wedding ever! The best location, every corner is special. Trees everywhere, marvelous architecture! The rooms are incredible. There are two types. We stayed in the villas in the first floor which are much more spacious and hacienda like. The... More

This is a one of a kind property, one of the oldest buildings in the area still in use. It was at one point a sugar cane processing and storage facility, and has a wide variety of startling and fascinating public spaces - some in a restored but open style, some more completely enclosed. Of course this doesn't apply to... More

Stayed here for a few nights with my family, including young child, and we all had a great time. Beautiful old buildings and well-maintained gardens combined with some nice modern amenities and helpful staff. Relaxed by the pool, enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the restaurant (although food was average), and loved walking through the grounds. Overall it seems more designed... More

Former mansion of the conquer of Mexico, the property has been successfully adapted to a boutique hotel with a magnificent pressence. Every spot has personality and a related story. The gardens are awsome and easy to enjoy. Travel in time with luxury and use it as base to discover Morelos attractions. Out of all city noise.

Everything is beautiful and immaculate. We were there for a wedding and had a double looking over the pool with the mountains in the distant. Once you enter the gates to the hacienda it's like you're in another world. Everyone is so friendly, the grounds are so beautiful and the food was traditional Mexican gourmet. The breakfast was amazing. The... More
