My partner and I were lucky enough to find a deal for MS$1800 for two adults all inclusive. We drove up from DF Saturday morning and arrived in time for lunch. The ladies at reception were very friendly and we were soon situatedin our little room Belen. This was not the nicest room as it had no view and was... More

Thirty years ago, when I first visited and stayed at this hacienda-hotel, it was just beautiful and peaceful. A great place to stay and relax. Today, greed has converted the place into a big business, you cannot even visit it without paying at the entrance. There are other beautiful old hacienda nearby that are more interesting and less crowded.

Stayed at the Hacienda in a congress form work, service was ok because we were in a group, almost didn't speak to the employees because it was all thru our congress manager, but I could agree with other reviews that service is kinda bad... on the good side, grounds are beautifull, the little lagunas and gardens are very pretty, would... All the comments about the unfriendly service at the reception desk is EXACTLY correct. Most other service was good. Food was average and plentiful. Rooms were large and furniture was OLD as was TV and carpet, etc. Bathrooms were clean but OLD I would return anyway because of fantastic grounds. I have not experienced anything like this place (good) in... More

San Miguel Regla is a wonderful quite place with lots of fresh air and it could be a great tourist attraction, my and my husband stayed there for one night the Hacienda is absolutely beautiful but it needs nicer stuff at all the departments major clean up, they do charge a great deal of rate to have 2 star service,... My wife and I arrived at the Hacienda for a two night stay during our honeymoon. At check in, the staff was courteous, but not friendly. The room (Santiago) was in one of the old buildings, and a disappointment: very damp (after a rainy day), drafty, cold, and very outdated (decor and furniture might have been from the 1960s). The... Hmmm, this place has a ton of charm. The grounds are vast, cool wine cellar, beautiful landscaping, cool vistas of the old buidlings...clean. That's the good part. Food is weak, overall staff is weaker, very difficult on the technology side....weak internet signal - in lobby only. Phones system super poor..basically I was off the grid for a few days. If... Pros: beautiful landscape and setting; buffet was quite good; staff in restaurant brought us disposible cups so we could take our tea back to our room. Cons: staff at front desk not/not particularly nice or helpful; you have to (over) pay for firewood (the only way to heat your room); room was a bit damp (though it was raining while... More

My parents booked this hotel in order to spend a long weekend outside Mexico City. So, 2 rooms were booked and price was given. Price was not respected for 1 room (2 pers.), we were charged 10 USD more per person per night. Please note that prices were per person per night but it included the 3 meals. Furthermore, receptionist... More

The website of this old hacienda promises a quality hotel in a nice setting, a completely renovated hotel. Before travelling to Mexico I reserved a room for 3 persons via email, it was confirmed for a price of 800 pesos per room per night. This hotel was THE lowlight during our 3 weeks trip. Nothing is renovated, the room was... More
