We spent 7 nights at Quinta Camelinas. It was the low season meaning that we were alone in the hotel. But it didn't bother us: it was like having our own villa for only 42 dollars per night. A bargain! We had the small room which is already of a decent size. The swimming pool and long chairs were appreciated,... More

Can't see the ocean but it's just a short walk away. In fact everything you need is close by. Nestled into the neighbourhood we felt very welcome and safe. It can be a little noisy at times but we slept like babies. We stayed 3 weeks renting the small room which was more than adequate. We had access to a... More

We stayed there for 2 weeks with my parents. Great location and very quiet. It's very very clean. Mario is always there to clean you room and to have a little talk! The owners are fantastic and very friendly. You just have to walk a couple of minutes and you are in the centro or at Playa La Ropa or... More

We stayed for a couple of nights in the "small room" (which isn't that small at all, but very cute and comfortable) and we loved it. The owners let us get into our room early after taking an overnight bus and even let us stay late on check-out day until we were picked up by our friends. The pool is... More

The New owners Natasha and Harry are one hundred percent improvement on the last owners!!! They are totally reliable, very attentive to all our needs and the Grounds keepers do a tremendous job caring for the property. We will again recomend this spot to our friends.

Many thanks to Jackie (manager) and Deb (owner) for a great stay. Others have already named the good things so I won't double up. We love it here, period. Now then, is there noise from the neighborhood? Yes, welcome to a real neighborhood where real people live. But, where else can you stay and watch a young couple bring their... More

We were traveling with a group and rented the apartments, suites and rooms. The manager (Jackie) was fantastic to deal with and very accomodating. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, the market and many wonderful restaurants. The kitchen areas are fully equipped for groups or individuals. The staff is friendly and helpful and the grounds are clean.... More

I booked the 1 bdrm apt for March 13-27 and also May 4-25. I had to cancel both due to family issues. Keeping my $525 for March is understandable as I only gave her less than 2 weeks notice. No problem. However, I had to also cancel May and she refused to refund me for that month. That is $575.... More

i am very sorry that this man had a disagreement with his sister ( who lives in zihuatanejo). at the time of cancellation, i offered to put both payments towards a future stay, certain that they would make up. i heard nothing back from him, until i recieved a scathing letter which informed me that he had written to you.... We've been staying here for a week or so for the past three years. It is a pretty place with a pool in a central courtyard. The guests mingle and get to know each other creating a nice little community. The location is good with excellent food walking distance. Also, the staff is great about listening to and acting upon... More
