This smaller hotel on the side of the hill is a perfect gem. From the incredible views from all the rooms to the wonderful staff it is a perfect place for young couples, singles and older folks too. The staff are all as friendly as possible, from manager to cleaning staff, as well as the people who work quietly at... More

Stayed at villas el morro in January 2015 for 3 weeks and the value was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large and clean. Our unit had the basic kitchen needs including a small gas stove, fridge, blender etc. Pool was cleaned everyday and very refreshing. View from the rooms in the floor to ceiling... More

We stayed in room 9 for five nights and then we were moved to room 1 for two nights. The view was fantastic from room 9. There is 170 stair steps to town and about another 50 to your your. We only took a cab to and from the airport otherwise we walked. It was a safe walk but we... More

This hotel was great, the rooms were big, clean and the price was very reasonable. The view was by far the best part. The pool was clean and offered a great view. The only problem was, there was never, and I mean NEVER anyone at the front desk. I stood there for over 10mins ringing the bell one morning and... More

Be careful to not stay in this hotel. When I stayed a Lightning struck on our cabana and not only did the administration treated us as homeless but they did not let us go for our belongings after the fire ceased. All of our rooms where incinerated by the fire that result form the lighting. The hotel does not have... More

We had stayed at another of the owner's hotel and decided to try this hotel. When we contacted him by his web site, he EMailed us back with the price of the various rooms. When we selected we had the choice of EMailing our credit card info or through Pay Pay- which we did. There was a mix up on... More

I stayed at Villas el Morro for three nights with my boyfriend in February and we loved it! We were looking for a relaxing time to enjoy the sun and each other and the hotel was ideal. We preferred going down to the pool in the mornings when it had the most sun and we always felt like we had... More

My wife and I went in Spring of 2008 and had a great time. The photos on the website are a little misleading, (fancy hot tub no where to be seen, infinity pool low on water, parking lot omitted from view) but if we go back to Zihuatanejo we would definitely come back to Villas El Morro! All in all... More

This was a brilliant hotel high up on the side of a mountain. It has the best view of Zihuatanejo bay that you can find in a place to stay. The pool was kept very clean since they cleaned it about everyday. The rooms were clean and well equiped for cooking. We cooked two nights while we were there because... More
