This was our second stay at La Quinta Troppo and every single aspect of our stay was purely delightful. Erica, Beto, Francisco, Edwardo, Maria and the rest of the staff were so warm, attentive and charming we wanted to bring them all home with us. For me the highlight of the trip was the cooking class with Maria and Erica.... More

I can not say enough wonderful things about La Quinta Troppo! This was our second time to visit and we always have a bittersweet feeling when we return home. We went with three other couples and two lady friends and stayed for a week. Despite the rain (one day there was torrential downpour) there was still so much to do;... More

La Quinta Troppo is a lovely place to stay while visiting Zihuatanejo. It was a quiet, romantic spot for us and we very much enjoyed our time there. The rooms are clean, quiet, and have great views. The pool was fantastic. The location was central enough for walking just about everywhere - down to the beach, as well as into... More

Erica, Roberto and Francisco attend to your every need while allowing for the expected relaxed privacy of this comfortable hillside retreat Inn overlooking Zihuataneo bay. Olga & Maria can accommodate discerning healthy option breakfast choices as well as present a world class lunch such as the chicken enchilada Mole'. The guest rooms, pool and patio areas are well appointed in... More

Upon our arrival Margarita and Lee met us at the door. Its a very quaint hotel, bed and breakfast almost. We had a beautiful room, well appointed with modern yet traditional furnishings. Breakfast was served each morning and we had a wonderful view of La Ropa Beach. The beach is with in walking distance (maybe 4 blocks) and we went... More

We knew we were going to love La Quinta Troppo, but we had no idea how wonderful it would be until we arrived at this beautifully designed hotel, walked into the reception area, saw the view, felt the breeze, and got settled in our gorgeous, open air room, La Ropa. La Quinta Troppo is run by the multi-lingual Lee Kraft... More

It is rare to find a hotel that is just as good second time around, particularly after an 11 year gap. So we were more than happy to find that La Quinta Troppo is still one of the best places to stay anywhere, not just Zihuatanejo. Lee Kraft has taken over from Dave Ferguson and is a charming host, ably... More

We just arrived home two days ago after having spent a fabulous two weeks here. Our comments are similar to so many other guests of this quiet, beautiful, discreet and classy boutique hotel. We stayed in La Sirena (the 9 rooms are named), a spacious room with great views. Although current construction on the property directly below our two balconies... More

We have been home for 2 days after our 8 night stay at La Quinta Troppo. This was our second visit and we had the same open air accommodation, Suite La Ropa. All suites are private and elegant. Fairly new owner Lee Kraft has held on to the same wonderful staff and they seem like a family. In fact Troppo... More

Thank you for your comments and recommendations to other guests interested in visiting Zihuatanejo and looking for adequate accommodation. Yes, of course I am concerned regarding possible noise issues generated by the construction site down the road to La Ropa beach, but fortunately our guests have not found this to be a major issue, except one couple from San Diego... This is our third stay and we have not been disappointed! I'll comment more later as I don't want to spend to much time on my phone when I could be relaxing in this beautiful setting. I do want to mention that after having tried all the beach restaurants - there is no comparison to the amazing breakfasts & lunches... More

Thank you kindly! How about an order of assorted tacos for two on a Sunday afternoon? How about coming back to La Quinta Troppo sometime soon? More
