Casa Cuitlateca is the perfect hotel for a long weekend, offering large and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good - if unpretentious - food and a wonderful infinity pool overlooking the bay. There is a comfy elevated daybed next to the pool (covered) or a more exposed deck with deckchairs (and umbrellas). 10 minutes to walk to the beach... More

We usually leave Seattle in the winter for a "sun break" - for the last five years it has been to Casa Cuitlateca. Every year we say, "maybe we should go somewhere different?"....then we look at each other and say..."nah, maybe not." The staff is great, we loved the new Jalisco room, the food is fantastic and most of the... More

Great place, wonderful staff, beautiful views, tasty food, I love it! Booked room on way out, added another day. Terry and staff excellent. I've posted previous reviews. We love the food, great daily specials are fun for lunch, breakfast is great - fresh oj - fruit plate is beautiful. Andy

Great views and quiet retreat. A very short, although steep walk to either beach and a 10 minute walk to town. Great service and food. Easy to arrange excursions for horseback riding, to the ruins of Xihuacán, or to La Barra de Potosí. We had our teenage daughter with us, but this hotel is not good for young or lots... More

Perched on the hillside above and just down the street from La Ropa Beach, this small resort is unique in so many ways. The rooms are typical Mexico natural stone & masonry design with so many well thought out amenities. The natural stone shower with old style fixtures was classic Mexico (thank goodness) and the separate toilet stall was beautifully... More

We now know why Casa Cuitlateca has received the Traveller's Choice Award on Trip Advisor--it simply is charming and excellent. Located generally up the hill behind Hotel Irma, the view is splendid, the food is excellent, the infinity pool is relaxing and a rest on the poolside pallapa is incomparable. With only 6 rooms, this hotel feels all your own.... More

We have been to Ziauatanejo numerous times and have stayed at a number of hotels but we consider Casa Cuitlateca our Zihua home. The hotel amenities are some of the best in Zihua and the location is perfectly positioned between Playa La Ropa and downtown which allows access by walking. The leisurely strolls to town for shopping and dinner or... More

Our stay at Casa Cuitlateca was wonderful. From when we first walked across the suspension bridge to be greeted by our host with a delicious margarita & guacamole, salsa & chips, we were extremely happy with this little piece of paradise in Zihuatenajo. The infinity pool overlooking the bay, surrounded by a pond full of lilly pads & koi adds... More

Casa Cuitlateca is 125 steps up from the main road through a tropical garden to a panoramic view of Zihuatanejo Bay. Sailboats bob in the bay, the sun sets over its western shoulder and the regular crash of surf drifts up from the beaches below. At night gold and silver lights sparkle in the town below and the noise of... More
