This is an excellent villa/hotel to stay at while in Zihua. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. From the moment you walk in you feel like a celebrity. It is an intimate setting, well designed and very cozy. The grounds are well kept and clean. The food at the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. I caught an Albacore... More

We stayed here for a week in February 2015. It's an absolutely beautiful hotel, made even more lovely by the very attentive and helpful staff. The hotel is small and quiet, set high on a hill with an incredible view of the bay below. While we were there, there were only a few other rooms occupied, apparently due to the... More

I returned this week from a 5 night stay. The staff at Villa Vera are the most caring, friendly, helpful people. We were there 14 months ago and were pleasantly welcomed back by the same hosts. Since the property is so small it almost feels like you are staying a the home(mansion) of a close friend. I was told that... More

After staying at an all inclusive in Ixtapa, this place is paradise. My husband and I were able to extend our trip for a few more days and stay here. This was our first time in this area so we didn't know what to expect. When we first arrived and walked into our room, we both were silent. The view... More

Apparently this property was recently acquired by Wyndham and is in transition. Almost impossible to book onto presently. We were lucky to be here for 2 weeks and have the place almost entirely to ourselves. That being the case we were given most excellent attention and extreme kindness at every turn. We felt bad for staff who rely on tips... More

We just got back from Zihua staying at Villa Vera thru our RCI timeshare exchange program. As other reviewers have stated, it is a small but wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We only had a "studio" unit, but it was very spacious and comfortable. The staff at Villa Vera is genuinely friendly and care about their guests.... More

What a wonderful surprise this little boutique hotel has been! Because of it's small size we've gotten to know just about every guest staying here! There's a view from every room! The rooms are good sized, clean, and pretty straight forward. The staff is very friendly. The bell man brought us some unique tropical fruit after my boyfriend told him... More

We spent a wonderful and relaxing week..... very quiet...... at the Villa Vera. Our villa suite on the 4th floor was spacious and lovely. Housekeeping was always prompt. The hotel was not filled to capacity and once in a while we saw nobody for hours and hours. July is a very hot month and the temperatures were in the 90s... More

We stayed 8 days in a villa room, gorgeous room and terrace. Staff were all great and very helpful. A special thanks to Juan Carlos and Miguel. Concierge Maria was also helpful, they had a number of tours available which we did not use. Restaurant food was actually quite good. they did have a meal plan which was very good... More

Nervous having booked this hotel online & having never been to Zihua before. The drive to the property is not great, but once you arrive at the hotel, you feel as though you are in someone's gigantic hacienda. AMAZING view, clean, simple, comfortable rooms with excellent balconies. Friendly bartenders, wonderful infinity pool. Very relaxing. Not for partyers or lots of... More
