We spent a wonderful and relaxing week..... very quiet...... at the Villa Vera. Our villa suite on the 4th floor was spacious and lovely. Housekeeping was always prompt. The hotel was not filled to capacity and once in a while we saw nobody for hours and hours. July is a very hot month and the temperatures were in the 90s... More

We stayed 8 days in a villa room, gorgeous room and terrace. Staff were all great and very helpful. A special thanks to Juan Carlos and Miguel. Concierge Maria was also helpful, they had a number of tours available which we did not use. Restaurant food was actually quite good. they did have a meal plan which was very good... More

Nervous having booked this hotel online & having never been to Zihua before. The drive to the property is not great, but once you arrive at the hotel, you feel as though you are in someone's gigantic hacienda. AMAZING view, clean, simple, comfortable rooms with excellent balconies. Friendly bartenders, wonderful infinity pool. Very relaxing. Not for partyers or lots of... More

Stayed here for 10 days with my girlfriend. The arrival was a little bumpy because they did not give us the reserved room that we had booked. We had booked a studio with 2 separate beds. The first night we ended up sleeping in a king bed and the next day they did oblige and give us the requested 2... More

The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-15 minute walk from town. The ease of access allowed us to walk into town several times a day to enjoy the numerous local restaurants. Food in the resort restaurant was excellent, but obviously more expensive than eating in town. The staff was very friendly and helped answer questions about where to go... More

Our second visit. The staff remember us and make us feel right at home. The views and the pool are just right. The rooms are clean as are all the common areas. Don't worry about the look of the road as you approach the hotel; it truly is a hidden gem. What is really special is the atmosphere. If all... More

This was our second time to Villa Vera, Feb 1 - 15, 2014. It was so nice to see the same staff there that we met when we were there 2 years ago. They remembered us too. We had 2 different rooms. The first week was a medium room and the second week was a large. The Medium room was... More

We enjoyed our stay except our reservation for a 1 bedroom unit was not honored at check in. Booked though RCI as an exchange of 2 bedroom unit. Were told by Julia the RCI rep that we could not received that unit because we were a party of 2 and it required 4--- We suggested that we go rent some... More

We stayed there, and found it to be very relaxing, it has its own pool, for taking in the sun in peace and quiet. The restaurtant has a very good chief, the food was great and more than what you could eat. Very nice view of the harbour and bay area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staffing was...
