This is a very nice hotel, on the smaller side but my husband and I are used to all inclusive and the prices at this hotel were a bit outrageous when you can go to the local convenience store and buy a large can of beer for a dollar and the hotel was charging $3.50 for. Mexico is pretty good... More

We had such a nice time at The Irma. We will definitely be back. We originally had a room on the 5th floor, but moved to 102. It was a much smaller but very quite room. We loved it! Very nice and peaceful. Nice shade to sit and relax earlier in the day. Close to the pool, which was very... More

This is a very laid back place not fancy but very homey. The hotel is very clean and the staff is most accommodating. Alfredo, the bellman, will help you with about anything you need and Jamie at the Front Desk will assist you with everything from restaurant recommendations to tours and cabbies. I would definitely not think twice about coming... More

Returning home today after 2 weeks in Zihua, at Hotel Irma. We love Zihua & you cannot beat this location. A pleasant walk either to Playa La Ropa or town. The hotel is an upscale, Mexican Hotel - very clean, pleasant, helpful, well trained staff. Hot water isn't consistent but never problematic, mattresses on concrete slabs but we slept well... More

This was our second stay at the Irma - of many trips to Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa. Though our first several trips found us staying in Ixtapa, we cabbed or bussed almost daily to Zihuat! We have always felt safe and there are lots of great places to eat. Hotel Irma's best features are the view, the infinity pool, service and location! Rooms... More

If you are looking for beach views this is the place. Each room has outstanding ocean views. The sunsets are amazing. The rooms are clean and of the typical Mexico design. They have happy hour twice day and the drinks are already a great deal. We enjoyed our morning walk along the beach to the fishing village (less than a... More

We were looking for a place with ocean view in Zihua, and absolutely did NOT want the glitz of Ixtapa. Looking over the available offerings, I kept coming back to this hotel; right by the beach, walking distance to other beaches, and generally great reviews. I'm SO glad that we chose to stay there. First off, the views from even... More

Last March in 2014 my husband and I came across a great two week deal for air and hotel to a place called Hotel Irma In Zihuatanejo. After a bit of research into both Hotel Irma and Zihuatanejo, including how to pronounce Zihuatanejo (Zee-wat-an-ay-hoe) we booked our package and off we went into the unknown. The minute we arrived at... More

Hotel Irma has very nice, helpful staff, a great location and fabulous ocean views. There is direct access to the beach below. Tons of authentic little restaurants in the area, and an easy walk into zihuat. The restaurant is a little pricey compared to the beach bars, but it's convenient. Yoga weekday mornings from 7:30 - 8:30, an onsite spa,... More

We are very excited to return to Hotel Irma. The staff are friendly, food & drinks reasonable and good. The Pools and area around the pools are kept clean. We have been fortunate to stay in Oceanside rooms with the exception of Feb 2014 and had booked directly with the hotel. They had issues with overbooking and we moved twice... More
