I travelled to this very special place for a few days of getaway to relax and hopefully experience the best in service, food and accommodation. It was all I could hope for and much more. Starting with a very short ride from the airport to a very warm welcome at the hotel I was off to a good start .... More

We’ve just completed our fifteenth visit to La Casa Que Canta, and we made our reservations for next year before we left. The weather in April was perfect. We think of ourselves as discerning travelers who have very high standards. When we travel, we look for (1) a beautiful, peaceful, and unique setting, (2) polished, unobtrusive and gracious service, (3)... More

Absolutely the most beautiful and romantic resort with the absolute best service. We have been visiting Zihuatanejo for 14 years now and decided that for our anniversary this year we would splurge and stay at La Casa Que Canta for the week as we love the beauty and food of the restaurant that we visit each time we visit. We... More

We just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week at this beautiful, peaceful property and could to have had a better time. The staff is exceptionally attentive and accommodating, in addition to being genuinely friendly. The property is immaculate and quiet, while still being conveniently close to everything. The suites are nicely appointed and comfortable, especially the beautiful terraces. The restaurant... More

Lovely hotel that really does anticipate your wants and needs and is made for rest and relaxation. The staff are exceptional, especially Fredi, who runs up and down the stairs what seems like hundreds of times, bringing guests cucumber or pineapple scented water, cervesas, margaritas, food. Our room was always magically made up whenever we returned to it, with a... More

We just returned from our second visit to Zihua and La Casa Que Canta . We have always subscribed to the "you can never go back" theory since first visits can be distorted by time and hesitated to return to La Casa after our first wonderful experience however this second visit was even better than the first! We stayed in... More

If there is an experience you need to have before you die, stay a few days at La Casa Que Canta. Not even 20 minutes from the airport, served by many international airlines, there are very few places which do compare to this one. Although it is not intended for the super-active person, the hotel has a nice gym, you... More

Excellent resort. But when we book they never told us that they didn't have a beach on site. You have to get out to a public beach with no lounge chairs or shade. Just our towel under the sun. The hotel is truly beautiful, the service excellent, the food amazing, the suites are very very nice. We went in September.... More

Don't think about it anymore. I read all the reviews. It's so difficult when you read a negative one. I was treating my husband to a surprise birthday getaway in December and was emotionally invested in this being the right place. He has taken me so many places in the World, often Four Seasons or luxurious Boutique hotels. I wanted... More

My wife and I just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at Casa Que Canta and it was the best overall experience of our lives. The setting overlooking the bay of Zihuatanejo and at the edge of La Ropa Beach, the totally private Master Suite with its own plunch pool, the waives crshing on the rocks below our room, the weather,...
