Coming to Puerto Vallarta in the midst of the swine flu scare and at the beginning of the rainy season, my wife and I were fully prepared for some places being closed or having reduced hours. However, we didn't expect one of those places to be our hotel. When traveling, we make it a point to try and stay at... more

We loved everything about Casa Andrea from the pool to the room. We paid $100 a night and stayed three nights - it was worth every penny. The room was large with a massive bed, it was very clean and really nicely decorated and had a great kitchen area out on the covered balcony. The pool's on the small side... more

Our fourth stay at Casa Andrea, and we're coming back next year. From the entrance to the courtyard festooned with beautiful flowering plants to the lovely pool to the comfortable, tastefully decorated room to the kind and friendly staff, Casa Andrea is a Jewel. And the Jeweler is Andrea herself, who lovingly cares for this treasure. Outside the walls we... more

This place was more than wonderful!!! Can you imagine??--the staff sweeps often in the open air patio--not to remove dirt--but to remove beautiful flowers that fall from the gorgeous vegetation. Gardenias, my favorite flower, are everywhere. This is truly a paradise!! The pool is clean and refreshing and the hot tub is top of the line--great massages!! Breakfast is served... more

I loved la Casa Andrea. The rooms are beautiful and have wide open windows that allow the warm breeze to come in. A couple great things about la Casa Andrea include: -- Everything goes on in the nice courtyard full of bright flowers and beautiful decorations. -- Andrea, the owner, is such a kind person. She takes in stray and... more

We stayed for five wonderful days at Casa Andrea. Andrea herself is a sweetheart. She rescues dogs so there were a few running around -- made it feel like home. The apartment was great -- nice and open. Great breeze flowing through. We didn't even need the AC. Breakfasts were delicious, cooked by Andrea and her wonderful staff. The pool... more

November 2008 The staff were very friendly & helpful and the facility is spotless. This is a wonderful respite from the business of the city. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet considering how much noise is going on all around. We were ages 66 - 24 and it was enjoyed by all. more

I recently read some of the comments regarding Casa Andrea. How wonderful to see that almost everyone who took the time to write a review speaks well of this beautiful place and the lady who owns it. I have been to Casa Andrea many, many times. Andrea is kind, considerate, thoughtful regarding ALL the guests who choose her beautiful casita... more

We were down in early November. The room was air conditioned which was needed first couple of days. Oherwise you could sit out at your private balcony with open air kitchen. From your table you could easily reach your frig full of Pacifica. There also was 5 gal bottled water. Andrea was very gracious and 2 free computers were appreciated.... more

Casa Andrea seems charming, but when Andrea leaves all order is gone. They have cats that come into your room and will not leave (one bit me too). I would not recommend staying here if you don't like animals. Also, they have dogs during the day that run around and leave their poop near the pool. Very disappointing. more
