This was our fourth trip and we are going back again next year. Bill and his staff are great. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. more

My partner and I just returned from 8 days at Villa David. Even though it is low season in Puerto Vallarta Bill does not relax his high standards and works extremely hard to please his guests. The villa is beautifully maintained, the rooms are extremely clean and tastefully decorated and the breakfast continues to be a banquet even in low... more

As guests who have been staying at Villa David for a number of years, I can personally recommend this beautiful and romantic hide away in the scenic hills of Puerto Vallarta. Owners Bill and David are just wonderful and make us feel at home each year. The large variety of breakfast foods and great company is a perfect way to... more

After several previous visits to Puerto Vallarta, I decided to stay someplace different. I would like very much to say how extremely pleased I was that I discovered this incredible gem in the hills overlooking such a delightful Mexican town. My 8-night stay at Villa David was during the "low-season," but I still enjoyed every minute of my visit. The... more

I spent two and a bit weeks at Villa David in April/May this year. Arriving at night, I was ushered into a beautiful candle lit courtyard, complete with fountain and pool, and I knew straight away that I was going to enjoy my stay. The next day, I found I could see the sea directly from my bed, the cooked breakfasts... more

I just returned from my third memorable visit to Puerto Vallarta where I stayed, once again, at Villa David. Each visit gets a little longer. Not only do I find Puerto Vallarta to be practically paradise, but I can think of no more enchanting a place to stay than Villa David. The hosts, Bill and David, have done everything within... more

Villa David may be the best kept little secret for men in search of an intimate upscale retreat in gay-friendly Vallarta. It's a great guest house to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones who come back year after year. I've been returning to this spot of paradise for six years now. Each year I grow fonder of it,... more

We stayed at Villa David for a total of 45 days between January and March of '09. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our vacation here. Bill and David do everything they possibly can to make the guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. If a problem is merely mentioned, it is taken care of by the end of the day,... more

Ever stayed at a B&B where the owners were B&B (bitter & boring)? This is Villas David . . . a place where the owners have a laundry list of rules and grudges. Although the villa is picturesque, there's bad energy running through the place. When you call to book, you'll be told that there's a waiting list but once... more

Yes, we do have rules as do most establishments. We list them in our guestbook and try to make them as entertaining as possible. The top ten list of things NOT to do at Villa David. These are ridiculous things that former guests have done over the years and are written in such a way as to make people laugh....

My partner and I are regulars and have just returned form a 6 week stay at Viilla David. We will return in October for 8 days and again in December for 6 weeks. The property is beautifully maintained. The pool sparkles and there is a new hot tub. The rooms are very clean and well appointed and the staff is... more
