I wasn't planning to write a review of this resort, but I feel like it is getting a bad rap from a lot of the people who have written reviews. We were a group of six friends from Texas, and the only people from the United States at the resort. There was about a 50-50 split between Mexicans and Canadians.... more

Stayed there for a week last January and decided to go back for a longer stay next week.. Great service at the bar and dining room. Especially from Mateo at the bar and the gang in the dining room. Will have to try the restaurant this time. Suggest you tip well and you'd be surprised how smoothly things go--we even... more

We have been traveling to Mexico for ten years and have stayed in all types of accommodations. This place was the worst I have ever encountered. I was assured it was upscale from the Tropicana. This is a huge lie. The rooms were dirty and falling apart and smelled like live chickens. Dinners and suppers were pretty disgusting. We immediately... more

With a last minute decision, I decided to book this hotel online through Expedia. It was listed as a 3 star hotel/all-inclusive but is now listed as a 2 star???. We got a pretty good deal and upon arrival it was more or less what I expected. The front desk staff were very helpful even though our reservation was not... more

I agree that one gets what one pays for. My girlfriend and I slected this hotel because of the price. The location is not that bad, $5 cab from the Malecon. Make no mistake this is a "locals" hotel. there were at least 100 people at the pool any given day. Of that maybe 10-15 Non-locals. There is two pools.... more

We are not picky people, this hotel was the worst place we could have ever stayed. we changed hotels the next morning. the webisite is a lie, you do not get 24 hour drinks and food, the rooms are terrible, the staff are so rude, you sit in a mess tent and eat like cruise seating on broken down tables... more

We went for ten days and although the price was excellent we had a frustrating stay. Our first room didn't have hot water and the window by the bathroom only had half a curtain. They finally moved us to another room the next day which did have hot water but was nothing special. The beds are really hard. The worst... more

After booking at the hotel for two weeks we thought it might be a dump as it was such a good deal, and there were a few nasty reports on this site at the time. My friend and I had a really wonderful two weeks of rest and relaxation. The staff are wonderful and just so quick and willing to... more
