I just returned from a stay at Villas Loma Linda. Jose who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. Be prepared to pay an $80 maid service fee and $50 deposit in cash. Nearly wiped out our cash supplies on hand. The resort is a little dated Jose offered to trade our 1 bedroom for a studio with a view... More

Staying here is like having your own vacation home in paradise. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was well appointed although we didn't use it for cooking, there was also a great bbq out on the large terrace. The hike down to the beach each morning was fine but you will probably want... More

I read all the reviews before staying at Villa Loma Linda and decided to stay there anyway with some reservations. I must say- Its Worth Staying there. We had C7 which is the top room and the views are awesome. We could lay in our bed and watch the sunset, the bay, and the thunderstorms. Yes we went in rainy... More

This is a low-key place to stay and is definitely not a "resort'. We loved staying here for the sheer convenience of location and the amazing view of the Bay of Bandaras. There is no air conditioning, but none is needed when we have stayed (6 times) since each room has a multiple speed ceiling fan and the location on... More

I started not to write this, but now I must. We love this place so much that we bought a condo here! So I have to preface my comments with that. I call BS on all the comments about locking up your valuables in the chest of drawers, etc. Hello! If we were in the States and someone entered our... More

We are embarking on our 4th trip to Loma Linda over 2011 winter holidays. We have always stayed in June the trips before. This will be different, I think! I love the people who work there...so kind, so helpful, never disappointing. I love the pools and the newly constructed pool "upstairs"... If you want ultra convenience and luxury, you would... More

As noted by other reviewers, theft is serious problem at Villa Loma Linda. On our first night, while we were asleep someone crawled acrss the roof into our open bedroom window and stole all our cash, a watch and camera. On the second night someone threw a rock threw the glass door of the reception area and stole more money.... More

I first wrote a review for Villa Loma Linda on January 1, 2004. Each year since then, we have spent four weeks there...usually in one of their studio apartments. The two reviews here from June, 2011 about thefts are the first I have heard of at this resort. Having had this experience in the US on vacation, I know how... More

All previous reviews are all pretty spot on. We had unit C7 which has the longest trek to the pool! and 3 flights down to the street level, but possibly the best view of the bay. We also had no a/c. The stairs and no a/c are the only negative features. Most of those who made the comment that it... More

I was robbed while I slept -- my camera, wallet & watch. I was told I should have been locked up!!! This would have meant sleeping in the tropics with no air -- all windows and doors had to be shut. 2 nights later another unit was robbed. The attitude was "The victim is to blame!" I sure won't be... More

Unfortunately the economy in Puero Vallarta is as bad or worse as in the US. We have a large property and if someone wants to get on the property they will find a way. This guest left his doors and windows wide open and his valuables were left in plain site. We provide locking drawers in each villa and we... More
