My husband and I stayed 2 nights in March. I agree with the previous traveler who wrote this is a little bit of paradise just come prepared to relax and unwind. It seems as though the place is going through some transition- so communication may not be the best and the wifi they are working on it. If you are... More

We spent one week here, and fell in love with the place and the people. The food was amazing, the staff are all excellent, and the location calms the soul. We walked into Animas one day and Boca the next and decided that we weren't leaving again. The place is situated right on the shoreline along the walking path between... More

We explore the mountain, jungle and the secret path to visit Casitas Maraika, the secret path is a different way to explore Puerto Vallarta and get hungry, it's about 2 hrs walk but you feel safe over that road. When you get there you find the beach El Caballo (Horse) the service is great, gives you privacy, relax, ocean, food... More

This amazing family-run business is located on a secluded, private beach accessible only by boat. From the moment I arrived, I could tell that a lot of love and hard work has gone (and continues to go) into this place. Every living space has been carefully designed, with a lot of personal touches to make each one unique. And everyone... More

I spent one day here. Casitas M. is now one of those rare places I will daydream about for years. Arriving here: venture to Boca de Tomatlán and take a water taxi; simply approach one of the water taxi drivers(down near the bridge) and tell him where you want to go. The lodgings are creative and well-furnished, multi-level "cabins" that... More

What a great place! Four (pretty big) casitas on a private beach, accessible by boat from Boca de Tomatlán. The casita was very comfortable. The staff are tremendous. The food is fantastic. What a great place to get lost for a few days. Make sure that you understand how the boat transport from Boca de Tomatlán works; maybe a bit... More

On Friday 3rd January our catamaran charter (for Ally Cat) was cancelled at the last minute. Although bitterly dissapointed we were able to confirm quickly with Casita Maraika that they were able to host 50+ family and friends (visiting for our wedding). We quickly rented two water taxis and spent the day at Casita Maraika (lounging on the beach, swimming... More

Where do I begin... My boyfriend and I stayed at Casita Maraika for 4 nights in June. It was the most romantic trip I have ever been on! The property is so beautiful and well kept. Every night candles lite every walkway and the sound of the ocean lulls you to sleep in the indoor/outdoor waterfront casitas. The staff provided... More

Where should I begin? Maybe you'd like to hear (read) about the paradisiac private beach of Casitas Marika, or the beautiful people that work in there; or maybe you'd rather read about the delicious food you get to eat there, the romantic guest houses or the activities you'll be able to do there... Nothing I could possibly write write would... More
