The attention to detail was superb. We stayed in Sol 1, which has 2 balconies. The west balcony was big enough for chairs and a table and had breathtaking views of the city, water, cathedral. Spacious bathroom, large main room, very comfortable reading chair. Charming architecture, great art throughout the hotel. The common rooms for all of the guests included... More

We stayed at Luna Liquida for one night before returning home and will definitely return and stay longer. This is a lovely, small hotel. The rooms, living room and breakfast balcony are really nicely decorated and comfortable. The views from the rooftop deck and pool are quite possibly the best in town. It was so quiet and peaceful to sit... More

Luna Liquidas was the perfect boutique hotel experience; it is the complete antithesis of the "all inclusive". The architecture and design is impeccable, old world charm with a modern twist. Even though I was there over Easter weekend and the crowds downtown and on the beach were overwhelming, the hotel felt quiet and secluded; it was peaceful and relaxing. The... More

The good. Beautiful rooms, gorgeous pool and view of the city. Honestly, we were blown away with these features. Great wifi, the woman at reception let us stay at the pool until we had to leave at the airport. Great location - close to the marina/downtown. The bad. No hot water. Poor acoustics. My husband couldn't sleep because he could... More

What an excellent hotel! The people who work here are amazing; friendly and accommodating. Always asking if I needed anything, or just simply to chat. The hotel is aesthetically very beautiful; decorated in a very Mexican way, very colorful. The room, Corazon, was spacious, and the balcony faced the ocean. There wasn't a safe in my room, but when I... More

I think this location isn't reviewed more frequently because they changed the name of it from Mission Luna to Luna Liquida! Somebody has gotta change this so it's easier to find on TA--we almost didn't stay there because we couldn't find it, but I'm so glad we did. After hiking up the hills with our backpacks on (guys, I'm not... More

We happened to stay here during a time when we were the only two guests in the 5 villa hotel. We arrived early, but the owner welcomed us warmly and took our luggage up all the stairs for us. He showed us all around and let us explore the many interesting and brightly decorated rooms. He and the housekeeper went... More

The view at this hotel is both it's greatest strength and limitation. The rooftop pool is FANTASTIC for watching fireworks, whales, and anything else happening in Bandaras Bay. The downside is that it is up so many steps, above the Cathedral, that it is tough for all but the most fit to get up to it. As well, it is... More

Hotel Mission Luna Review This hotel is a unique hotel, especially for someone with an American perspective. I want to write a review that is informative and honest and helpful, so please read all of what I say. This hotel is not your typical holiday inn or Marriott experience. It is much less traditional than those settings. It is a... More

This is not a traditional hotel, but rather like a private villa with many apartments, that each have multiple rooms, balconies anspd a kitchen. On the roof top is a pool where you can sit or stand and overlook the rooftops. It's really cool. The house is nestled in the hils, about five block up a hill, located on the... More
