We stayed here early November and absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Maximilliano and had to use the AC room twice. No problem with mosquitoes or bugs. We did find the beds a little too hard, but we kind of got used to it and this is pretty standard in Mexico, it seems. We never wanted to leave the... more

My partner and I stayed 5 nights at Quinta Maria Cortez (QMC) and had a wonderful stay in early October. The inn is a wonderful collection of ecclectic suites, all unique, that cascade down to an almost private cove. Yes, there are many steps (who needs a gym!) but all those steps are worth the effort and reward of staying... more

The Quinta Maria Cortez is a wondefull bed and breakfast with a uniquely styled interior and wonderful rooms so big that you can almost call them apartments, all the rooms come with refrigerators and most of the rooms have stoves. Breakfast is prepared to order everyday except Sunday and is delicious and filling. The people who work there are very... more

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at La Quinta Maria Cortez and it was truly an amazing place. We spent 10 days and wish we could’ve stayed longer. We stayed in the Maximilliano and loved everything about it. Our room was warm since it was mostly open air, but it was never too warm where we had to sleep... more

We broke right out in giggles when we pulled up to this quaint, little villa in Conchas Chinas, it's just so lovely. Then we were shown to our room by the FANTASTIC manager, Jose, who made us feel so very welcome - as if we were old friends who'd been there before. When we got a load of our room,... more

This is place is full of charm situated along the beach with great views. No worries about having your room resemble a beige box, each room is unique. The location seems a bit remote at first but you quickly find out how close to town it is and are thankful not to be staying in town. The manager, Jose, will... more

Extraordinary sunsets on the roof, excellent breakfasts, great service night and day, flying sea birds over our heads, nice beach walkers, short walking distance from the crowded downtown area, original design for rooms (ours was the Rafael) and overall building cleanliness outstanding, what else could we ask for ? The only drawback: the ocean bay water sometimes smelled and looked... more

The Quinta Maria Cortez is a true gem. It is a funky little boutique hotel that is just minutes away from the best beaches and restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. We had the best time exploring all the nooks and crannies of this crazy little bed and breakfast on a cliff. (I am not really sure they had any architectural plans... more

My husband and I just returned from an incredible week at the Quinta Maria Cortez. I stumbled across reviews for this amazingly unique property while trying to find a quiet hotel in Puerto Vallarta. We were very impressed with the photos and positive reviews, but even our very high expectations were exceeded when we arrived and saw the QMC for... more

The QMC was perfect! We took a cab from the airport right to the QMC travelling down cobble stone streets with beautiful trees and villas surrounding us. Once at the QMC we were greeted by the nicest staff that made us feel right at home. We were given a tour of the property and were amazed by the beauty of... more
