WENT BACK TO VDP in JAN> 2013, 1 br. condo; and had a very good stay. SAFE, Clean, comfortable beds adequate kitchen, and quiet at night. I went with an open surgical wound, spent 3 weeks in Puerto Vallarta, visited hospital 3 times[about $500], and came home with a tan! [IE NO "Mexican induced infections" and help when I needed!] I... We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. We upgraded to a suite with a kitchenette so we had a fridge, stove and a coffee maker and everything you would need for cooking. Dish soap was supplied but you have to supply your own coffee. One thing we didnt like is our room was a little walk to... More

The resort and serive was great. Great location next to downtown. Housekeeping was great. However, I wish they would not allow all the sales by locals on the beach. I would deffinately reccomend the resort to a friend.

Our 'home in Mexico'. Have been coming here for about 20 years. Beautiful beach, restaurant on the beach, friendly waiters, bell-boys. Looking for a restaurant? Just ask the bell-boys at the front desk. Each time we arrive we are greeted with hugs. Excellent service in every way. Look out for the breakfast buffet. It's addictive.

We were overwhelmed with the beautiful view from our balcony overlooking the Mexican Riveria. Our overall first reaction was , OMG! To our surprise, we not only had one hughe balcony overlooking the ocean, but two nice sized decks overlooking the pool and garden court. We also had two full bathrooms with big, deep soaking tubs . The two king... More

We stayed here for 5 days on a deal booked online, which of course included the timeshare promo; so we wasted a half day on that, because we were not interested in the least. But it did get us a discount on the Rhythms of the Night show, which was a fun evening dinner & show, i'd recommend it. The... More

We stayed at Villa del Palmar for a week, not all-inclusive, on a good trade through Interval. The grounds were lovely and sparklingly clean. Our room was kept very clean, and was well-stocked with toiletries at all times. Maids even washed our plates and cups, which we did not anticipate they would do. We ate no meals at the resort,... We arrived at Villa Del Palmar late afternoon March 2nd using a pickup sevice provided by the hotel, which was excellent - we had arranged for this and paid ahead of time - driver was great. Our check-in went smoothly and quite quickly and we met with Africa to arrange details of our stay and were scheduled for the Timeshare... More

The room was very nice with good amenities. The restaurants were very good, pool and beach were terrific and overall we enjoyed our stay. However, on checkout, I was informed that $3.50 had been added to my account daily for tips to unseen help such as gardeners. This was the first time that had ever happened and it did not... More

I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the time share pressure. My husband and I had to go through staff section when we wanted to go off the resort just to avoid the constant nagging. They even had kids down the street questioning if we got our 'discount 'card, meaning we had listened to the presentation. We ended... More
