We had a great time in Puerto Vallarta, as always. This was the eighth time my wife and I have been back to PV and it seems every year we take some one new with us. This year we had 5 people in our group that had never been to Mexico before. There were also 6 of us that were... more

I must admit my boyfriend and I felt like we were taking a leap of faith on this one...it turned out great! This was my first time "cashing in" an RCI timeshare certificate. We stayed in a studio at Los Tules and it was right on the beach, gorgeous sunset. Our unit was very clean, in good shape, a/c worked... more

My boyfriend (now fiance, we got engaged at Los Tules) and parents, and I loved our stay! The room was more than adaquate! Two bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. With 7 pools to chose from, we never had to fight for a lounge chair. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were not too pushy about signing up for... more

Compared to the all-inclusive tourist barracks down the beach, with sunbeds packed like sardines, this is an oasis: low-rise condos, beautiful gardens, seven (quiet!) pools, attentive staff. Book through Ambassador Suites and you can't go wrong. The on-site restaurant is the only disappointment, but there's a good, modern supermarket (Soriana) across the street, and buses into town are fast, frequent... more

My experience at Los Tules was a great one! I highly recommend it. The actual condo has a truly authentic Mexican feel. The accommodations were perfect for us because we didn't spend much time in the room and didn't need it for anything but sleeping and eating sometimes. The grounds were immaculate. The main pool was much warmer than the... more

We did not expect such a nice property for the price we paid. Seven pools, right on the beach, close to downtown- Walking distance to really good restaurants. We had paid for a standard room with no view and when we checked in we were offered and upgrade to an oceanview for only 30 dlrs. We will be back. more

We reserved a 2bd/2bth condo for a week to relax with our parents. We booked this through our highly respected travel agent. A man named John for Los Tules Real Estate confirmed the reservations and was in contact with our travel agent. When we walked into room# 15-121, it was the dirtiest, broken down room we'd ever seen. Everything was... more

Christmas 2004 12 family and friends, three families, took a Royal Caribbean cruise and very much enjoyed the whole experience. This past summer we booked from 7 to 11 nights at Los Tules for this Christmas and New Years. Reading TA forums I expected to be very pestered by time-share personnel on arrival. Did not happen! (Those reviews may have... more

From what I can tell the Los Tules is a combination of Hotel units, time shares, and condos. We stayed in the Royal Holiday part of the Los Tules which faces the front of the resort. Our room was a two room Ambassador suite. King bed in the bedroom and a pull out bed in the kitchen/living room that doubles... more
