Well...The hotel is ok, food is ok, but customer service is awful. I originally purchased two reservations back on November and cancelled one of those two. I called right away to request a refund and gave all information required. Eduardo Lemoine told me it will take a couple of days. It's been 2 months and I haven't had my money... More

The basic of the basics. I was only here for one night (Thank God), I was expecting a lot more, but I must admit it was clean and staff we're friendly. Only had lunch by the pool, it was ok, wine is from a carton container, drinks are pretty much all syrup based. Location is good, that was a plus.

Pros: the beach front room was fine, clean and had a good view, the hotel is a step away from the restaurants and shops in the Romantico section of PVR Cons: If you are NOT gay there is no point in staying here or in the Romantico section at all. You would be better off staying in the newer PVR... More

We stayed two weeks Dec. 28 - Jan 11 2015. It is right on the beach and down town in the Romantic Zone. Close to the Malecon, city square and two venues offering nightly entertainment of high caliber (Act ll and The Palms). The staff were very accommodating providing mattress toppers (you have to request these) to make the beds... More

Ok Guys. Here is My Review on The San Marino Hotel. First after reading all the bad reviews I wasn't that happy about my roommates decision to stay at this hotel. I would have preferred to stay in the resort area away from the downtown area. That is until We arrived at the hotel and checked in. First the Staff... More

Just finished a week stay Dec-Jan 04 2015. I had read on here the standard rooms were week and to ask for an upgrade, so I did. The clerk was nice and friendly and ended up giving me a ocean view suite for 2 day, ($50 day upgrade) and a superior ocean front room for 5 days ($25 day upgrade).... More

This is not a resort. It is a hotel. This is not in the resort location. It is in old town. It is where the Canadians and US visitors come to stay longer term and the Nationals come to stay on the weekends or while on Vacation. It is right at Los Muertas Beach and is filled with locals on... More

Well the location is great and the hotel is clean, it is very tired and in need of a major renovation. The food is boring but edible. After the first few days we barely ate at the hotel as there where so many great restaurants right around the hotel. If you want a basic budget hotel this is the place... More

This budget all-inclusive resort has everything this senior couple wanted and needed. Stayed Dec 7-14th. This "almost all-inclusive" means that food and beverages were not available after 10 pm. But location! The resort is immediately in front of the beautiful new pier and just off the malecon. The resort, although not new, was clean and well maintained. But the real... More

My husband and I went here on a last minute deal and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is nothing spectacular but the staff was outstanding, the beach was great and the food and rooms were okay. If you are looking for a fancy place, this is not for you. If you are looking for decent accommodations in the heart... More
