A lovely well maintained beach-front hotel in Puerto Vallarta, just off the Malecon boardwalk. Rooms are nicely appointed, although a bit dated. Most rooms have a small balcony on the side of the building with some bay view. Bathrooms are spacious and the beds are good, although you may want to ask for an extra blanket....or open the door to... More

We recently stayed at the Rosita (5 nights) and I would stay here again. The location is perfect: 1) beach front, 2) near Malecon 2) near good restaurants 3) near bus stops 4) pool on site. 5) water taxi. We had a basic room on the street side so it was noisey so I would ask for a different room... More

We stayed two nights until our condo rental started. The location is perfect for tourists... Right on the Malecon and the beach just out the back door. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Room small, but adequate, old but clean. Beds were comfortable. Water warm. Wifi available in room and and worked fine. The beach and ocean are just... More

This is the absolute worst place to stay if you're looking for a nice getaway. it is the loudest place I have ever been, even louder than living over the Lincoln tunnel in Manhattan for 5 years. There has been a jack hammer outside my window all day and a disco all night for the last 2 days. I am... More

The excellent rating is for what this hotel is - a simple Mexican hotel. It is the oldest hotel in PV but it is comfortable and the staff is very good. If you want to experience PV this is the place to stay. At the north end of the Malecón you are close to everthing in downtown PV. There is... More

Stayed here over New Years, so I can't comment on most since all of P.V. was partying hearty that night. Rooms are well done, very comfortable. Most have a small balcony with a water view, and the hotel is situated on the beach. Staff is excellent. In house restaurant was very good, reasonable prices for food and drinks. I was... More

During this winter I stayed three times at the hotel. Each experience was totally different. Rooms vary a lot. Our first room was huge - in the corner, the terrace was amazing, and sunrise from there was amazing. But it had a rank smell. The second room we got was smaller, toilet spilled and it had an excuse of a... More
