Nice clean mostly adult building. Would not recommend for families. Close to beach and hundreds of great restaurants. The pool is cold but refreshing on those hot days. Rooms are clean and community kitchen really helps. The guests are quite friendly too there so easy to meet new friends. It is noisy because its down town. Bring ear plugs. Loud... More

Experience the town and not just a resort. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Unobtrusive and low key location near the beach. There was information about tours on a board and a listing of local events in the area. Very nice stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to include a bit of old town Puerto Vallarta in... More

Posada Roger is in the old town. It is a very Mexican style hotel with charm, bougainvillea blooming in the lovely court yard. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, with AC and a TV. I do not like AC so there is an overhead fan and a large window with screen that overlooked the courtyard. The beach is... More

We had three rooms for three nights, and it was the perfect location to experience zona romantica and the malecon. The best of our three rooms was 316, which included a large fridge. The staff was very helpful, and always available to help us. Third floor was a bit of a bear with luggage, but we knew this in advance.... More

The people that run this hotel are amazing. The location is awesome. Basilio Badillo is one of the best streets to stay on in Old Town. The two best breakfast restaurants are just below the hotel and a block up. Most of the most popular restaurants in town are on this street. The beach is a couple of easy blocks... More

Hotel Posada de Roger is a basic hotel that is well-run, appropriate for families (my kids are 3 and 5), well-located, and very well priced. Our room had two double beds with sheets, two pillows, and a coverlet. There was a bed side lamp and one or two basic chairs, a small closet and a small bathroom with a shower... More

I came here 2 times in 2013 and 2014, and will again in march 2015. Nice patio, in the center of romantic zone, near beach and restaurants even in walking distance.. Rooms on the first floor are very dark, there is no lift for second and third floor, but the staff will help you friendly for your luggage, and all... More

Located in the heart of old Pto. Vallarta, this hotel is quaint but very dark if your room is on the first floor facing the courtyard. The hot and humid weather forced us to seek out the air-conditioning of our room which was adequate for sleeping but small for relaxing. Probably should have booked a room on the upper floors... This hotel is right in the middle of what they call the Romantic Zone in the old town. 4 Stories high. No elevator but stairs easy to handle. Service is very good and they try accomodate any changes to your lliking. We will definitly stay there again. They are adjoined to Freddy's Tucan where they line up for breakfast. Nice... More

This is a great hotel if you are looking for an inexpensive stay in PV. It is right in the center of old town, near the beach and restaurants. The rooms are basic, but very clean. The only things I missed were a room safe and a fridge. ( I realized later that I could have rented one for $5... More
