2nd time staying at this place, my partner and I, and we like it a lot. The place feels authentic Mexican which we appreciate tons! The rooms are quaint. Do not expect an Americanized experience! We really liked the service that Elizabeth gave us at the front desk, and our housekeeper Cindy was great!

This is our second time staying at Casa Dona Susana and we have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The rooftop pool area is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing/shopping... If you take the all-inclusive package, you have access to the restaurant, the beach (with chairs... More

Our recent stay at Casa Dona Susana was our second. The rooms have been spruced up since we were there in 2008. Nicer beds, upgraded baths, and WiFi. We love location in the Romantic Zone. The local economy is better than on our first trip. There were a number of new restaurants, though we couldn't really complain about the options... More

Room 307 on the corner. AC, water pressure and hot water were all great. Balcony overlooks a quite street. Rooms are a bit worn and the bathrooms need updating but still a great location and a good value. The rooftop pool turned out to be a little larger than expected. Half a block to Los Arcos for pool and beach... More

Having been to Puerto Vallarta several times, with big resorts, renting condos to renting a villa, we thought this time we are going to get a small hotel, right in the heart of things. No need to rent a car or even take a taxi, everything is within blocks walking. So with that comes the charms and the frustration of... More

We decided to stay in the Zona Romantica while in PV and this hotel was very convenient. While the standard room amenities weren't fantastic, we did not go to PV to stay in the room all day. The only major complaint I had about the room was the bathroom. It was very small and needed much updating. The room itself... More

My biggest complaint is the cost here. There are many other comparable hotels in the area for much less. Shop around. The best thing they have going is that it is adults only. So it's fairly quite. The place looks clean but has a horrible musty smell to it. If it were less expensive id give it a better rating,... More

Hi: My third time returning .The staff was much more responsive this visit. They were very helpful. despite ongoing problems with the internet, think it is driven from parent hotel, Playa los Arcos. That was my only frustration was limited access to internet. Meanwhile, the important things like cleanliness of the rooms and friendliness and responsiveness of staff was even... More

We stayed in a standard room for eight days over Christmas, and found it super claustrophobic. The hotel is fairly clean, and the pool is awesome, but the standard room we booked online though booking website was extremely cramped. The room is small, and the furniture is oversized and does not fit in the room so you are constantly bumping... More

Location is great, in the heart of old town off Olas Altas, the main drag. Beach is just a block away. Even though it belongs to Los Arcos, it's much quieter and suitable if you don't have kids and want a pool you can relax in. That pool and roof top really was great to have, we spent probably half...
