I have stayed at this hotel many times and varied durations. Yes, great location and adult only is a plus. The property has so much potential. The rooms are musty, but if you run the a/c that issue is resolved. Not sure who or why someone thought it would be a good idea to install industrial multi roll toilet tissue... More

This hotel is a great place for adults who are looking for peace and quiet as well as convenient dining and perhaps a beach experience with good service. Two positive points about the hotel itself are the roof top adult only pool and free coffee in the lobby in the morning. The coffee is self- served in a techie stainless... More

Well, let me start out with how disappointed I am with Casa Dona Susanna (CDS). While we were there, during the workweek, the hotel was under major renovation replacing all the atrium facing windows to the rooms and other work to the hotel. Based upon their daily progress, I would guess that the renovation has been going on for some... More

As the title says, location is the only good thing at this hotel. First - the service: or should I say lack of service. Upon arrival, they were not very friendly, told me there was a fridge in the room, which there was not, and couldn't figure out how to get me connected to Wifi - I had to figure... More

I'm writing this so anyone planning to stay here in the near future can have this info. There is ongoing construction/renovation here (around Nov 18 2014). Unless you are fine with banging and drilling noises all day and don't plan to spend time in your room or take a nap during 10-6, check with them before you book. Apart from... More

I recently visited Puerto Vallarta , Mexico by myself. Being a woman travelling alone you want to be sure it's a safe area and place to feel safe in. Casa Dona Susana is all of this and more, the pricing is excellent and the area is right in Old Town and close to Freddy's Tucan, and Cafe Ole, La Palapa... More

What a sweet small hotel in the heart of town. if you are looking for a small little clean very friendly place in the middle of town 1 block from the beach, this place is very good. The staff is friendly and love that you have access to 3 pools and towel and chair service on the beach. The small... More

Casa Dona Susana is excellent. The only thing was that one day the service move my cloth and fold it without requesting it. I didn't miss anything but I felt uncomfortable that the service wiggle my luggage

We stayed here from 9-27 through 10-5-14 and I was extremely pleased with everything! My wife and I are in our 50's and have stayed in other Hotels both north and south of the Romantic Zone. We love the area and the numerous Restaurants that are around. We booked through Hotwire and I called the Hotel to upgrade to a Balcony... More
